But I do it because it's the truth! Maybe other people have no problems. But if 30-40 percent of the engines are rejected, that's a cheek to sell for this price. A decent quality control is simply part of the price. A friend of mine has 2 from 4 motors with scratching and playing in the bell! It just can't be. He says high quality in his video blah blah blah! You can't talk about that, I'm sorry! I am from Germany and quality is very important to us at such a price. You know it's one of the most expensive engines you can buy in Germany, right? And one of the worst I've ever flown. On the other hand, take the xing eco. I get 7 - 8 motors for the same price and the bad thing is that they are even better in their quality. Crash into the meadow a few times and you sound like my xing are 1 year old and have 200 crashes! That is simply the truth, even if some do not want to believe it. It is only my opinion and I say if something does not suit me and hope that this video spares some people and throws their money out of the window. I've had friends who all have problems. They run new stacks and keep stock pids and have good new firmware. They put controlls each time to experiment what components might be failing. Each time its these crap motors.

I had them on 2 of my quads and they were good while new but it wasn't long before I was seeing vibration in my fpv camera. I saw this video and switched to tmotor iv's in 1750kv and have never once regretted it. Just my experience.

Was a fan of the hypetrain v1 motors. flew em daily for over a year before they started to get crunchy. the v2 were crunchy out of the box. Tried a set of them "box cutters" and the bell popped off on the first flight. Got a set of Xing motors and all flew really good until one took tried arguing with a piece of angle iron. I haven't flown since middle of last summer now, but I have a new replacement ready to put on it. You're killing it with our flights, Marc! keep at it!

I have had the same experience with the mr steel motors. I used the v2 and they did not last long and replacement parts were hard to find. TMotor is a fantastic company building only quality products. Great video and nice freestyle flying 👍

PixelcounterFPV im flying xings right now as well as ledribs and Diatone motors. They are all different. Some are absolute rippers and have to be under propped and others like my V3’s are super chill and silky smooth. Plenty of power. Quality, maybe I’m lucky, has been great!

@@Jamaicarasramarc his motors are really only meant for auw of 500g with his low pitch, or some other low pitch prop. its more for lower throttle precision than high throttle punch outs( where the t-moters exel over most other motors). the play was a bad batch. my first two had play, and the rest where fine.

Thoughtful video and good flying! I switched to T-Motors when my RX2206-11's disintegrated and never looked back. The T's are punchy, light, durable, and juicy enough that they should ship with a sponge ;-)

I know it is almost 2 years ago this video was produced but whatever. I experienced same problems with the Ethix motors as well as the Hypetrains... Weak bells & crunchy bearings. While I found them terrible compared to even the Lumenier 2206-11 2350kv I *STARTED* with on my first quad in 2015 and I am looking at 4 of them still operable on a decently flying quad. As for the Ethix & Hypetrains.... I ate the cost & just did giveaways since other people still liked em! I have never had a problem with T-Motors. I love them. Using T-Motor F90 Long Range 1500KV on the Super G+ 7" Oldie but goodie! Love that flow. Bumpin' for the deuce deuce.

Buddy of mine went thru 8 ethix v3’s in 2 weeks. Donno if it was a bad batch or what but that’s insane. Tmotor makes a solid motor period. Even their new $13 motors are pretty good.

I've had no luck with Ethix Stout motors. The base of the motors are made of very soft metal, like pot metal, so it's extremely easy to strip out a screw. I also had one burn up on the bench. This weekend I replaced the Ethix Stout motors on my Apex with T-motor F60's in 1750Kv.

Agreed! the Ethix Motors are garbage. I had a set of Ethix V2 Stout 1700kv, was really disappointed, within one month 3 motors were toasted (1 magic smoke, 1 bent shaft, 1 lost a phase)... Anyway I prefer Emax ECO series, cheap and effective, good durability. Had a set of T-Motors F40 Pro 2 2400kv in 2019, those were solid performers, expensive but really good

hurts.... for sure.... when the original HypeTrains came out and Tommy flew em in the wall to show durability, I put them on 12 quads.... worst 3 days of my life lol... and LAST product I ever did and ever will buy from them.... thanks for keeping it real brother, too many pilots would sell out for a 12 dollar vtx.... my favourite at the moment are the Xhover 2207-2500... tough as nails and loads of fun ....

At least you made it far enough to start the motors. I had 3 THREE, I had 3 of the motors strip while I was hand screwing them in. The QC on these things was atrocious and I sent them back to the seller. They took back the motors, refunded my $$$ immediately, and I’ve bought multiple sets of TMotor motors from them since.

I use Xing on both quads for one year with hundreds of crashes and no problems. Sounds better than the ethix after 10 lipos. My only Xing problem is for me the Amps and the weight. My quad is so heavy, 650-670 gram with a hero7 and Mount. I am looking for lighter motors with the same quality as the Xing. But Xing was my best motor since I fly quads. That sucks mate but I’m not surprised, I bought some ethix battery straps and they are light weight but snap really easily, I don’t trust their stuff. I have been running T-motors on 3 quads for a couple years and love them so hopefully you will be much happier with those, they are a lot more durable than they look too. That sucks. I'm glad I still have my V1 Tbs Silk motors and they still run smoother than my other motors . I never moved forward with the Ethix line of motors...🤘😎👌🚀

I use Xing on both quads for one year with hundreds of crashes and no problems. Sounds better than the ethix after 10 lipos. My only Xing problem is for me the Amps and the weight. My quad is so heavy, 650-670 gram with a hero7 and Mount. I am looking for lighter motors with the same quality as the Xing. But Xing was my best motor since I fly quads. Xing is king right now. I can’t feel the difference between my regular xing or e-xings. I also have some budget dys motors that are running like a champ. I might buy some back up replacement ones. I’m not seeing the need to buy premium(expensive) motors.

Yeah! I feel the same about mine. I used to fly t-motor on my old quad I lost, but it was 4s. They were amazing but expensive and tbh the xing has taken more of a beating than my f40 pro 2's.

Hey man ... die Packung von den T-Motors sieht schon gut aus, hoffe die passen für Dich ... das mit den Souts kann ich allerdings nicht bestätigen, hatte und habe mit den V2 und V3 absolut keine Probleme bis jetzt ... aber kann ja jeder machen wie es ihm gefällt, gibt da kein falsch oder richtig 😜 ... geil geflogen, wie immer 🤩🙌🔥 ... happy flying n cya 🐉✌️

Ja denke das liegt wirklich an der Fettec Combo. Schreibt auch Fettec die Motoren nicht zu benutzen. Bisschen spät halt🤣 Aber ist eh nicht das meine. Brauche smoothness im Gas und die sind extrem zackig wie du ja selber weißt.
