Boys I’ve been throwing the Kietech jig since 2008!! I showed B-Hite this jig on the FLW western series on the Columbia River!! So it’s no secret out west, maybe 15 years ago✌️✌️ Love the content guys keep it up👊👊

I hooked 26 fish and landed 24 of them in a 6 hour day on the bitsy bug jig. Ran it on a 7ft medium heavy with 15 lb fluorocarbon. It was the 1/4 oz jig. Just dock flipping a resivour and didn't have a problem

Bro, while watching this video I remembered I bought 3 Strike Bitsy Bug jigs last year and never fished them. Pull the green pumpkin one out, went down to lake near my house and caught a limit, and a tree limb, on that little 1/4 onze jig in 45 mins. Not well made but gets lots of bites

I catch 25 pound bags on that bitsy bug idk why the hook percentage is so bad for your buddy hahaha I rarely lose smallmouth on the spinning rod braid to fluorocarbon here on Champlain

I like this series, I like when you guys talk about companies you're not sponsored by and give positive feedback. I feel like these are the same chats you probably have around the bonfire with a beer after a tournament day and its good to see that genuine side of each of you. I'm a tackle collector myself and assume that every one of you guys are also, a man and a fisher man, I know we all like "gear", as much as we can get our hands on, so I am sure it safe to say your garages have all of the competitors baits also and you have opinions on everyone of them. :)

Good job on the video. Agree on all you thoughts on the jig, My favorite jig is the SK Structure Jig in normal and Baby. I love the Owner 2x hook and have yet to lose a fish on one. I can use it in rock, brush, laydowns, shallow or deep, skip it, swim it, hop it and drag it. just a great all around do everything jig. And as a Co-angler you need a good all around jig.

They make a bitsy “flip” jig with a coated hook and a stouter hook for 20¢ more. But I think if I had to choose a non football head finesse jig from Strike King I’d be getting the baby Structure Jig

I fished Keitech jigs almost exclusively this year. Them and Zman micro finesse jigs. They cost a lot, but they always do what I want. I do love tungsten heads, they behave exactly the way I expect. I dominated tournaments in august around our province this summer with an array of Keitech’s. The model 2 football is a champ, the mono spin got me bites when other jigs weren’t. But, the Zman ShroomZ micro finesse on bfs got me a win on a day where the bay and river went dead. 50 boats, only 8 of us brought in limits the second day, where 44 had the day before. It was like someone threw a switch on the ottawa river. It just died. That micro finesse jig got me 9, and I was able to cull two early fish. It wasn’t a masterful performance, but 12lb2oz was good enough to get over the day one leader, who came in with 2 fish and ended 12th.

Out of that lineup,I’d take the Ballin’ Out jig 10 times out of 10. And to clear up your confusion on that particular jig,it’s a Gamakatsu hook, not a Mustad. I threw that jig for years before switching to the War Eagle heavy cover finesse jig because I prefer a horizontal line tie as well as the fact that you get 2 per pack for nearly the same price as G’s jig. But again, the Buckeye is an exceptional jig.

My favorite jigs are the ones I make! I get everything I want in a jig. Light wire or heavy wire, big, small, hand tied skirts exactly the way I want em, 60 degree-in line line tie on my ball head jigs because a 90 sucks. And different head shapes for different purposes! It’s a wonderful rabbit hole! Haha.

All good comments about the jigs, I used to pour and sell not only the shakey heads but also made finesse jigs. I personally like a 90 degree flat eye hook from Mustad. 3/16 and 1/4 oz. 4/0 and 5/0 hooks. My company was called Tommyheadjigs. I really liked the flat eye hooks due to the fact everything from the reel to the curve of the hook is in a straight line, which makes the hook penetrate the roof of the mouth. when setting most other jigs the hook has a tendency of turning, no matter how you set the hook. Alot of research went into this fact. Another factor with a 90 degree flat eye hook on a ball head compared to other eye hooks is the jig has a tendency of sitting at a 45 degree angle which most crayfish sit at in a defensive position, but then again your all professionals, and know more on how things work than I do keep up the great work and if any of you wanted to test drive a jig let me know. When I get back from Alaska, I could send you some for free. just food for thought, I'm from Georgia.
