Idea for a new Crew role. "The Director" When all personal tasks are done and the task bar is half full gains the ability to overrule the vote once and eject who they voted for. They are revealed to the whole crew their role. The reveal happens as the meeting ends. No warnings are given to the killers apart from the task bar reaching half way. They can opt to vote normally and save their overrule.

Jeremy's death in that second game (by the Sheriff) is how i have one Among Us game end in one round, when the Sheriff cuts down an Impostor trying to play the long game after all of her previous killer rounds end before the first meeting on run-ins with the Veteran. Just to make things worse for the unfortunate player, their body is subsequently reported by the Sleuth, causing all killers remaining to out their roles for a crew win. Said player's run in the Town of Us mod has her only live past round one _once_ - an Amnesiac round where the body she manages to get a role from was a vanilla Crewmate from the very beginning of that particular game. After that Sheriff-Sleuth tandem ends her long game attempt, she switches to a different lobby using the Other Roles mod... only to end up the Sidekick every time in a ruleset i'm working on for an Among Us series called "Shining Trolls". Said ruleset has no Sheriff, no Jester, no Arsonist, only one Emergency Button across the entire ship (which is deployed almost immediately after the Jackal sidekicks this particular player), and the Sidekick can't kill, vent, or be promoted when the Jackal dies (they die in that meeting alongside both Impostors, leaving the unfortunate player unable to do anything to stop the crew from winning via tasks).

Tonkontsu and Pork Chashu is a bit of work, but it is worth it. I made the Chashu and broth in large quantities and froze half. Only issue I had is I went to a butchery where they don't remove the hairs off the pork belly. Fire is good and all but I find myself spending a long time removing the hairs.
