Pannier bags like that are always going to be a struggle. I have a Brompton and they are the same. If I end up getting an L3 I will probably stick a crate on the back and maybe a Brompton front bag adapter.

There is a guy who made a nice rack extension for a milk create for the L3. I'm myself think about getting this bike. But I have two questions, if you can help me. 1. How does it fare of really steep hills. I'm about 160 pounds. I just saw a lot of mixed reports about this topic. Mainly won't the motor overheat. 2. I'm really anxious that I would be looking funny riding this bike. I'm 176cm. But yeah, it's an issue for me😅. Can you share your experience please. Thank you for answering. Have a nice one!

Hi I have a similar bike , I don’t think those racks are functional as they are too short / too low , your shoes would be hitting bags/pannier I had to buy and had installed a Topeak beam rack that was connected to the seat post .
