brother I have been suffering from an MCL injury for 4 months now. I was in the same situation as u as I was gonna go try out for some teams and open trails but I got injured during off-season due to a heavy load of over training. I forgot the taste of playing and the only thing on my mind is to recover faster. I thought it would be a 3-4 week injury so I started doing heavy squats and other exercises way too early, causing my healing process to delay. I would suggest you to " properly " heal the injury and go to a trial fully prepared as their is ZERO point your body on overload. Also if u keep training through pain, it can get worse and maybe cause another injury. Be smart and take care Hamid
