So to speak about what the title and thumbnail means about bad winrates. There are some champions that definitely are bad in every situation (Ezreal mid has 44% winrate for instance and is absolutely trash). But there are some hidden gems as well. The reason why these hidden gem champs have low winrates is because they have extremely overloaded kits, where if a pro player pilots them it is unfair, so what riot did was nerf these champions over and over and over until they are still playable if you are perfect on them but no longer op in the hands of everyone. Some of these champions are Ryze, Akali, Azir, Leblanc, Sylas. While these champs have had some of the worst winrates ever for mid, they STILL were picked in pro play or even banned to prevent the enemy from picking it (and still are, Akali is top 10 presence in pro play right now for instance). The reasoning is because of the kits. They aren't bad champions, it's a matter of making sure pros don't pick them in every situation. Or at least that's how I see it after my 10+ years of league.

I'm glad we both understood how Prestige KDA Akali splashart is far too open making her extremely small compared to the whole splash thus meaning it looks very bad close up so using that skin as a thumbnail would look bad, but then the fan art of prestige kda didn't seem to resemble akali at all which led me to finding Akali artwork that everyone should know (as long as they have seen the akali music video at least once) where she is neon in the subway. finally bringing us to this moment of using that specific artwork

As an ADC i have built Hex drinker against Akali. I remember dying one time and checking, Hex blocked 1.4k damage. But 3k still went through in like less than 1 second... So i still died instantly.

@@gasoline9666 well i dont think so. mythic, shadow flame, sorc shoes and voidstaff. 2 items are staple for akali mythic and SF and from that point shouldt deal almost 4k dmg. Her e deals almost 1,4k dmg and only e which is phisical. Her 2nd ult deals increased magic dmg based on missing health....that champ has insane ratios. If akali e landed than you are soon dead but i admit she is fun to play

R e is super sketchy and hard to try mid cast. E is too big to chance bc if you miss, you're just out of the fight. My preferred method of securing kills with R is R Q E for the slow.

If you enjoy the champion, play the champion. The most important thing is putting in the games, the practice, and learning. If you aren’t playing a champion that you enjoy, you’ll be less likely to learn from the games you play and less likely to play in general. Qiyana will never be bad enough that you can’t play her and do well if you put in the practice on her.

@ShubhoD arguably, the most important part of her kit is also the hardest to hit. E makes up a huge part of her damage combo, and you often have to choose to either use it offensively or defensively.

As an Akali main I feel like R E combo is overrated, even at max range R its still inconsistent. I personally most of the time like to R W and dance around them with shroud/Qs/passive procs while being able to find a good E.

I'll do something unusual and contest you on this one. I Actually asked 2 Rioters, both Phlox and August, on why Akali is kept at 47% WR, and why isn't she eligible for buffs. Their answer? She IS eligible for buffs, she's just kept Weak and not buffed because of Pro play. So no, Akali isn't OP, she isn't even that good in general, even in High Elo, like she doesn't have 54% WR there or anything, where people SHOULD be able to pilot her. Unlike say Qiyana. You can put in the work and get good results, just as you can with Azir or LB, but i mean, a guy climbed to Master by Playing AD Sylas so that really doesn't mean much. Just like you said in your comment here, she's playable if you invest a good amount of time on her, but why not just Pick Cassiopeia at 53% WR and have a MUCH easier time? Like there's a 6% WR delta. It is HUGE.
