Just FYI, not an akshually moment. Steyr is Austrian, AUG means Armee Universal Gewehr. Belgian is Fabrique Nationale aka FN Herstal. Easiest way to remember - Steyr is basically German, but not.

cutting the coolant pipes to a PWR would actually shut down the reactor by removing the moderator so it would only break itself and not anything else

If the failsafe doesn't activate - working PWR reactor without proper water circulation would start melting down. No mater if the pump has stopped or the water is fully drained. I don't think I need to explain what mmeltdown leads to.

No, the NPCs are SCP-Foundation employes and the players are an GOC strike team(you can see it in the mission brief to blow up the reactor)
