Trikes attacked cause Cath hit the far Trike which causes all the trikes in the area to attack. You can see her shoot the trike at 39:45 lol

I sincerely hope they keep playing this, just remember guys, its made to be a very difficult game. Just have fun, tame dinos. It'll get easier, I swear. Edited to say some helpful tips, as you tame more dinos and put them around your base, less wild dinos will spawn, which can be useful, but also not. So less birds and dilos and raptors will spawn the more you tame things. Also, most tames you have to knock them out, like paras, trike, raptors, dilos, rexes and put food in their inventory based on their diet. Just protect them cause they are very vulnerable while knocked out. Ellis keeps talking about the inconsistencies of the game, but all the dinos are different levels, from level 1 to I think 100ish on the Island, on top of that each dino has it's own baseline stats, so very few have the same stats. It's like pokemon in that aspect.

Oh this should be good. Edit: Ok they are such newbs haha. Getting triggered by both their learning curve AND trying to tweak server settings... Honestly ... Don't change dino spawns to be lower than default or you may find it hard to locate certain dinos you want in the future. Say you have a specific dino you like, it might become alot harder to find because it's not a common spawn. It's also worth noting... Those skins can be disabled in your settings, per person... The option is there as Jonk mentioned, you don't need to disable them on the server. Skins can be nice when you want a bit of a change... So it's better to disable them per person not on the server. But hey I put too much time into this game and maintaining servers for friends.

because it was effectively the only one that did what it did, that actually worked, even if it ran like shit, and it had modding. and you CAN make it run well, even on a potato, it just takes... not running default settings, theres a few settings which cost a LOT of FPS for very, very little graphical improvement. unless its the "remastered" (read: you pay for it again for the exact same bugs and more) version, then its just a horrific poorly made money grab. Seriously, avoid the remastered version, or any version, the franchise is being milked for every last penny they can at the moment by snail games.

gotta love the studio behind ark. Bunch of greedy fucks that pull extremely shady shit. Then go on to release ark ascended with ark one still buggy as hell. And announce ark 2 as well as well as releasing a game that was meant to be ark dlc at first. Theres a lot of potential but Yeah. I hope you guys have fun cuz boy that game's effing frustrating.
