I really like the idea of more rough and tough sneakers. Only reason why I've stuck with boots is because they are generally waterproof or made waterproof via a wax. I really wanna see how long that waterproof coating lasts on these, cuz a little pour of water test imo is bs since I've had garments that easily pass that test, but then when it comes to real rain, or a extended period on wet roads fails terribly.

Adidas are killing it with the recent releases. Always get stick for liking adidas over Nike but I think it is justified, they’re innovative and are put together so much better. Free hiker GTX is my fave winter ready shoe.

I just bought these... and might regret it lol . I live in south Texas🥵 They felt SIGNIFICANTLY warmer than than the other adidas on my other foot. It was very noticeable. I was trying these on in cool spring weather. I couldnt resist bc they looked and felt so good , plus i usually run on dirt/rocky trails.

Dude, I buy alot of sneakers and I'm just a regular guy. I don't know if I'll ever wear all of them out, but I am worried that it'll be 10 years down the line and the shoes that I haven't worn will be broken / falling apart because of glue going out of date on the shoes or the air bubble decoloring or the plastic decomposing. You've literally got a ton of sneakers at your place and you've been collecting for years/decades? Can you do a video on how to preserve sneakers and how long you think we can realistically keep them before oxidation and the chemicals in them expire and start falling apart? I prefer to wear my sneakers as oppose to buying and preserving them but I got loads! Love your work man!

I like ultraboost. The 19 is better then the 20 because the cage on the 20 is horrible. But they for sure don't last. I've noticed they only last about 5-6 months.

Super curious about this too. 3.0 I wear 9 1/2. And 1.0 I needed a 10. The 4.0 I have a 9 1/2 but I prob could have gone either way. I just hate shoes that are a lil too big.

Love these once they are on my feet, but they are super hard to get on if you are wearing some mid-thick socks! Like you say, you can't slide your foot easily into it. Also, water will still into this shoe around the sides of your ankles.

I just copped these and I made the mistake of putting the actual laces on, I would advise leaving the lace lock system on cuz once you get it off it's impossible to put back on and the laces are way too small for the shoes. I'm beyond pissed that I even took then lace lock system off

Right off the bat, they should have made a mid cut. I don know, but to me winter equals boot like shoes. When it rains, I like to cover as much as I can to prevent my ankles to be soaked. The 3 grey stripes ruin the design imo. They should have kept it minimal.

The whole cld.rdy / wtr.rdy issue runs through the whole brand... been looking to get some golf gear last few days an in the shops the labels don't seem to match what it says online. So you don't know if its waterproof, or if it is waterproof plus thermal etc... very frustrating

No Goretex in ATR. They were only water repellent. Step into puddle and the water comes in easily
