FearKV yeah I did a poll on insta and half said they were ugly, the other half said they looked nice. I really can’t see what is ugly about them, especially in the desert ore “witness protection” colourway

I actually like the design of the React Prestos. I think it's a dope shoe and I ordered my pair from Footlocker this morning. I can't wait to see it on foot. I thought the cage unit is aesthetically pleasing to look at on the shoe. I'm looking for more options from Nike's ID. I think the lack of colors make ID seem a bit stale right now.

I was skeptical about the silhouette at first too. But as i saw more colorways i got more interest. I bought the white ones last Saturday and wore em the next day, and I gotta say; best shoe of the summer hands down🔥🔥👌🏿 i own the B&W element 55s and a presto boot, this is the best of both worlds at a good price. Hella comfy, nice and sleek, the materials feel great too, and the colorways are fresh too with tons of options, hints of 3M reflections in the designs are a plus! Definitely recommend to anyone needing a good runner other than UBs

If anything I would prefer if they kept the original spacer mesh upper and cage, but revamp the mid and outsole to include React with rubber traction (granted, it will give it more weight but I ran in heavier shoes before) since Duralon is less durable.

I have that olive React with red swoosh he has on background. Very very nice and probably only react wearable without socks. True size and goes with almost everything jeans shorts sweats. Best part is I got them on sell.

Fair warning these run pretty long and would recommend going to store to try these on. I'm normally an 8.5 but I think an 8 would have fit better since I like a snug fit. Going to see what I can do to make these fit. Btw got the Panda pair love them!

These are extremely comfortable and after being on my feet all day at work my legs don’t feel like falling off. They look way better on feet than they do lying around and there’s a bunch of color ways out there to find what you need. These aren’t for exercise though. There’s no heel support and I would imagine running in these your foot would slide around as they don’t hold your foot in place like the element reacts would. Would recommend for everyday/school/work 👌🏽

i don't think its bad lookong just a bit awkward around the heel-meets-midfoot area. Hes is just used to the originals and can't connect both the orginal presto and the react one to the presto name. i think w/ the reasonable price point and more people wearing them we'll get more used to them and apriciate them

With names the tooling always comes first like Air* Presto, Air* Jordan, React* Element... Since the Epic React foam was designed/moulded for performance (with the different ripples and heel clip), I think that's why it's been given the "Epic" prefix. All the other new lifestyle React's are just 'React', but the performance stuff has the 'Odyssey React' and 'Legend' etc. for the different midsole shapes and configurations. I haven't asked anyone for confirmation on that, but it seems that way 🤷🏾‍♂️. Maybe when you're next at an employee store, one of the athletes should be product trained to dish out the facts, if you ask

I like them, but I don’t like the cage, plus it would look better with more eyelets. For me personally I think how laces sit on a kick can even make a bad trainer/sneaker look good, if you know how to lace right.

@@c1930 You're 100% right for you and I: problem is from Nike's view there are not enough sensible people like us. I would put money on it that Nike is already planning a redesign of the cage for a 2020 update at the latest, maybe even in time for the Xmas sales 2019. I'll be stocking up when these hit the outlets, so the more people turned off by teh cage, the happier I;ll be when I walk out with more boxes of size 10 Black/Red/White React Prestos (OK, maybe a few other colorways...)

In some colorways it might be the worst nike I've seen - but a super plush shoe is it's own kind of beauty! Great comparison - I would've liked some more on feet comparison -which is wider, arch support, etc. I feel in some way this is part nike darwin ( already a clunkier presto mashup) X the element, but maybe someone with more history can speak to that!
