Hi and thank you so much for this wonderful review ! ❤🤩 I bought Kashaf about 6 weeks ago, first from overseas and then saw it would take so long to get to Australia and ended up getting it from one of my usual Aussie perfume retailers. I do not know why it is but since late summer or start of our autumn I have become fascinated with berry notes. I also love leather notes and my big love is Lattafa's Ajwad Pink to Pink because of the leather note combined with guava and the raspberry note in this. I know some people do not like the leather dry down but for me this is what I love about Ajwad Pink to Pink , so that's what started my search for berry notes and perhaps with leather or oud or musky notes. I must admit I do seem to love perfumes that are called polarising; I suppose behind the very polite exterior beats the heart of a rebel as I love my perfumes to have a touch of noir or perhaps an unexpected twist. I saw Kashaf on Instagram and read the notes and had to have it. I knew it had a sharp perhaps synthetic start to it, but I was not put off and bought it. I did smell Mula Mula once and I agree with you about this and Kashaf. I have had my perfume now for 6 weeks and the sharpness and slight off putting notes are either almost gone or I have become immune to these as I know what the pay off will bring. The gorgeous beautiful notes that will appear, now with maceration and on my skin within 10 to 15 minutes, I love that I do not get nose blind to this at all. It is a perfume I have worn so many times in the last week even though we are slowly going into very cool weather ( it is autumn in Tasmania) and today it has suddenly dropped from 16 to 8 degrees and snow may appear on the mountains. But the perfume seems to still hold its own in cold weather. I am so glad I bought this. I also bought another caramelized strawberry scent (not for the faint hearted, one of my signature perfumes is Opulent Red so I am drawn to strong scents). I must admit when that one arrived I felt it was a failed blind buy as it was too synthetic, too loud, too sweet, too everything and I put it away to macerate. When I get my Middle Eastern perfumes I usually spray a few sprays into a room (which I can air out and leave for a day or so in case I do not like the perfume and this time I was very glad of this). I walked in later and thought that it had dried down into a nice perfume but do what I do when I am in doubt and so I sprayed 10 sprays and put it away and let it macerate for 12 weeks or so. I sprayed it 2 weeks ago and I feel it lost most of the synthetic loud start. Now it opens with a slightly fake strawberry note, (yet somehow creamy), with the addition of lots of sugar to my nose, and then suddenly the note becomes less synthetic to me and it turns into a beautiful caramelized strawberry, the heart notes show my favourite white floral, the narcotic tuberose and bright jasmine but to my nose these floral notes do not overpower the strawberry, the caramelised strawberry leads this dance. The rich base notes of vanilla, musk and amber somehow bring it all together and before they unfold the scent is a touch playful, but then in the dry down , it becomes more grown-up, sensual and bolder, much warmer and more intoxicating. To me this is the perfect combination of notes but it is not for the faint hearted, you must not be afraid of loud notes, and also love caramelised strawberry. I read someone said it somehow reminded them (of my beloved Gucci Rush , the original perfume not the newer version ) and instead of peach , strawberry plays the lead character. I do get a similar feeling as I do when I wear Gucci Rush but they are very different, but both are opulent, bold and utterly addictive to my nose. The perfume is called Ser Al Khulood Gold ( make sure it is the unisex gold version, sometimes called brown as the packaging is brown , an admittedly nothing special) and not the silver version which is a scent for men. I think Ser Al Khulood Gold leans feminine and cannot really imagine this on a man. I hope this perfume does not go viral as at the moment the price for this is reasonably cheap but some Middle Eastern perfumes have suddenly become so much more expensive in Australia which is such a shame. I hope this helps. Lots of love from Tasmania, Tia ❤🍓

Thank you so much dear for taking the time to share your experience with Kashaf, I appreciate it a lot and I'm sure many people will find it usefull! I can't wait for the scent to macerate a bit and for that slightly sharp opening to town down, even thought I have to say it's not so sharp to the point where I find it hard to wear, once it settles on the skin it opens up in the most beautiful way. ✨ There's something very special about this scent profile in general, it has such a beautiful energy. As for Ser al Khulood, your review on the fragrance made me very intrigued about it, I will look for a sample to test it first, when I saw mentioned sugar in the notes breakdown and you told me you can actually pick it up I was even more intrigued to try it. I love anything sugary in different mixes (Roses Vanille, Arabians Tonka). Sending you much love and many hugs dear Tia! 🤗🌹❤

@@AFragrantGlance Thank you so much. I feel exactly the same way about Khashaf, this word apparently means unravel or unveiling and I also love its beautiful energy. I actually kept wearing it on a cool day and it still was amazing. Interestingly enough I had some of my beloved Opulent Red on my warm jumper and when I wore Khashaf it blended somehow, even today I can smell these 2 perfumes together and they actually smell incredible together. Have not tried layering them as I love each one so much anyway, but I thought it was interesting that they smell so good together on clothes. I also wanted to add that Ser Al Khulood (which means The Secret Of Eternity, what a beautiful name for a wonderful perfume) to add , is becoming more beautiful with every day. It has not got a huge rating 3.68 out of 5 with 111 votes so it must be polarising like Opulent Red. I think it is a beast mode in the nicest way. It is what I would call an Amber Fruity Floral Oriental . It is a sweet perfume and to me the sweetness comes from that strawberry note. It is a 10 out of 10 for me after letting it macerate for 7 weeks. I really hope you will love it as well as the notes you mention that you love are also notes I truly love. I feel it is not so well known and also the packaging is not so stylish, so this is why I had not heard of it before either. It was very reasonable priced. Sending much love and many hugs to you dear, from a cold day in Tasmania, Tia ❤

Which one do you enjoy more (even though they are completely different scents) - Kashaf or Teriaq? 🌸✨ Also, Teriaq got so expensive where I live, it’s like 40-50 EUR min. 😭
@AFragrantGlance7 ай бұрын
Ohh it's very hard to choose for me as I love both the scent families. ✨ I'd say I love more the scent family that Kashaf is a part of but between Kashaf and Teriaq I'd choose Teriaq cause it's better done and much smoother, but Kashaf has its beauty as well. If you enjoy one you might enjoy the other one as they give me a very similar energy even though, notes wise, they're very different. Here in Romania I purchased it for 50 euros but it's out of stock everywhere and I'm sure the prices will only go up since it gets so much attention at the moment. Hopefully once the hype tones down the prices will go back to normal, on Lattafa's website is listed for 150 AED which is an amazing price for the quality it has. Thank you for watching my dear 🤗🌹
