While the etymology of many locales often eludes historical clarity, I posit a plausible explanation for this particular appellation. The epithet "Golden Hill" appears not to refer to the hill's composition, but rather to the resplendent vista it affords. The interplay of sunlight upon the tranquil waters of lakes and fjords lends an ethereal golden hue, evoking a scene of unparalleled natural beauty.

Another beautiful hike, Martin. Have you thought about buying a mosquito net for your head? I get out of breath all the time. If I waited until I got my breath back, I wouldn't ever finish my hike. That pollen was certainly coating your shoes. That would certainly set my asthma off. Hiking has improved my lungs, and I hardly use my blue inhaler anymore, but I do always take it with me. It's such a beautiful vista at the top. Definitely a Golden Hill. Thanks for sharing, Martin.

Oh I have one, but it's so irritating wearing it. I neet to remember the repellant sprey 😅🤦🏻‍♂️ I take my allergy meds, but I still need the blue one as well here and there.. Although I always forget it at home 🥳🥳😂
