You're one of the few creators who actually applies it in a thin layer haha 😅. The ingredients don't contain any green or blue pigments to tone down the warmth so i'm a bit worried it will look too yellow on my very muted warm olive skin. And ty for showing it over acne skin this video was very helpful!

aw, thanks!! definitely have seen a couple of people applying a little bit too much 😅i cannot deny that this cushion in particular has significantly higher coverage compared to other brands. so maybe that's why people go in with a heavier hand, thinking it will be lesser coverage. i guess the only workaround is to add in your colour-mixing pigments (which sucks cause that means we gotta spend more money 🙃) really glad you found this helpful ✨ if you do choose to pick it up eventually, lemme know how it works out for you 🤩

I think the shade match is a bit yellow, but in certain lighting it doesn't look bad. I've been hyping myself up to buy this because of the hype 😅. I'm just scared I'll get the wrong shade. I used their tiktok filter, but idk how reliable that is. It would be better if they released trial kits like the did for the first wave of shade

yeah, lighting definitely plays a part and lowkey, i looked like i had jaundice at certain points 😗 it's also my fault for going in so heavy-handed to the point where it looked so thick and cakey that the foundation colour looks so saturated yellow to the point where it looked not-so-skin-like. i wished i could try their filter!! 🥲 then at least i could show yall the comparison whether if it was accurate or not. omg yes, i agree. since they have expanded their shade range, they should do 2 different sets: 1 light to light medium, 1 tan to 1 deep and deep dark.

Thank you for the video. Perhaps this will be good for the sweaty NYC summers. In singapore right now, and have been seeing the new Maybelline foundation everywhere ! Do you have any thoughts on it ? 😅

welcome to singapore! 🥳 based off what the 1-2 times i've worn it, i like the formula of it *enough* but the selection in stores (guardian, watsons) isn't the full extensive list of shades available in singapore. the full shade range is only available online on the official maybelline shopee store. the shade i have, 115, is a tad bit too pink for me(undertone) but tonally it matches me. haven't done a proper long wear and test with it yet (only wore it once or twice for 3-4 hours). definitely prefer using a foundation brush over a sponge. keep you posted! 🫶🏻

As someone who often buys just the refills (if possible) if I want to test out a cushion formula because its a lot cheaper, I find it a bit perplexing that the tirtir cushion refills are pretty much unusable without the case. Maybe it’s why the flap/cover thingy felt flimsy to you, but the cover of the tirtir cushions is attached to the case instead of the cushion compartment. So if you only buy the refill, it’ll just be exposed forever after you peel the sticky 😭

omggg, now that you pointed it out, no wonderrr 🤦🏻‍♀️ okok, now it makes sense. i didn't realise it! but yes, i hear where you are coming from. i've had irl friends who do the same too. the cushion would probably dry out really fast without the case. the only other alternative is to get the little test packets. but then again, it doesn't really hit the same does it 😂😅

@@itskrystle I prefer Pony Effect Coverstay, it's similar to tir tir in terms of coverage but the powder is finer thus more comfortable & longer lasting.
