The new Opel Mokka arrives in South Africa hot on the heels of the innovative Opel Zafira and is certainly an SUV to stand out of the crowd.
Two models of the distinctive Opel Mokka are destined to excite South African customers: the Mokka Elegance and Mokka GS Line, both powered by the same turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The new range of infotainment systems ensures perfect connectivity to inform or entertain the driver and passengers of the Mokka. Monitors are an integral part of the Opel's new Pure Panel and is ideally positioned in relation to the driver. The Elegance model is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen IntelliLink infotainment system, the multimedia radio combining modern connectivity that allows music playback via USB, Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The steering wheel controls also allow the driver to access the multimedia system.
The GS Line offers a bigger 10-inch high-definition IntelliLink colour touchscreen with the addition of built-in navigation. The navigation system provides the driver with information on various destinations, traffic alerts, local weather, and embedded voice control.
Peace of mind
Once over the excitement of the new Opel Mokka, the more rationally minded will be comforted by the standard three years/120,000km warranty and Roadside Assistance. Service intervals are every 12 months or 15,000km but covered by the Mokka’s four years/60,000km service plan.

Looks like a great car... Love what you do... Can we get more information about the vehicles. Engine sizes as they move up that's if they don't have the same engine size. Can we see more of the interior space, what's included, if possible compare the different spec levels inside and out. (i.e cloth seat/leather seats, sunroof, rims. Boot space size. The warranty and service plan the brand offers. Roughly how much would it be to extend the warranty. Add on the vehicles competitor, and which one is better than the other. Fuel consumption? Lastly when you have sporty vehicle on test, give us a 0-100 km/h vs the claimed. I'd love to see the channel reach greater heights 🙌🏾

Focus in terms of engine size is purely focused on the car I'm reviewing in that time but most of the time engine size is exactly the same across the range just like this Opel Mokka. Talking about Interior spec, I can't speak about lower spec or higher spec models because I haven't had them on test but where I can I do speak about them ( Ford Everest Review Video for reference) reference) Car Competitiors are always mentioned and if not mentioned then the vehicle doesn't have a competitor in some cases. Service plan and warranty always linked in the description box below and in terms of extending the warranty I wouldn't know how much it would cost and for me to find that out I would need to go to the dealership etc. Fuel Consumption is always mentioned in all my review videos. 0 - 100 that would be tricky because I would need a dragy device which isn't cheap 😂 but in the future when I do have performance cars on the channel will definitely look to getting it. Lastly appreciate the kind words and the lovely input 🙏🏾❤️ Together we will definitely reach greater heights 🔥🤘🏾

Great video Nicky. Agreed include 0-100 times etc but I do believe we don’t buy cars such as this for that vibe but car enthusiasts love the stays🤓. I believe the gearbox issue it’s changes is the manufacturer way of preventing people who don’t know when to shift or drive 😂of damaging the gearbox 🤦🏿‍♂️ overall it does look good but competition is tight for that money 💰 🫢

For this amount of money I could find a better over all car...things like an M car to golf 6, golf 7 etc.. For one to buy this car you'd have to be looking for a mundane daily vehicle. For me, this car is too little for the money they are asking for.
