I get the resentment regarding msg, but the guys from 397 are really trying to make it right and are putting in a lot of effort. Anyway the game is definetly easier when you got a James by your side for the first time :D

Apparently it is ok to like more than one sim . As a sim shifter I say try them ALL . I think it makes you a better overall sim racer . Respect for being open minded Ollie .

100% agree, I think it maybe helps break bad habits from one game to another and really get back to core fundamentals.

I love how people decide to make a stand and boycott a computer game based on ethics, but then have no issues booting up windows, using nvidia graphics cards and in some cases a meta quest headset. No problems with the shadiness and sometimes borderline evil of Bill, Jensen and Zuck and their influence on our day to day lives that’s all fine and no issues there, but a couple of guys who release DLC during Early Access and buying car licences for unreleased video games, nah man they went too far haha. Some of the dumbest and most child like ethics of all time. I never let any form of politics get in the way of me having a good time!

What was going on with the extreme aliasing in this game? Did Ollie have to turn the graphics settings way down to get a decent frame rate?

I think he didn't use FXAA wich helps with objects like cables or fences. Besides that you have all the usual options like MSAA or SSAA depending on your GFX and it looks crisp once you have everything set up correctly. I run on a low end system with GTX 1070 and an i7 6700k medium to high settings on a single screen and it looks very good and runs smooth.

It is a vastly different game now, I bought lmu on release and refunded it. Bought it again a few days ago and am loving it Edit: 20 hours later the game is still very buggy

Maybe it's getting more tranction and recognition simply due to the fact that it is a decent product and offers an enjoyable experience. No reason to be angry about it. There will be a time when iRacing, Reiza or Kunos release something interesting or new and people will stream it. It's pretty simple. ;)
