I have seen them.... I'm uncertain they seem to work on the more aggressive you are (the more catching you experience) it may needlessly keep locking out thinking you have or are about to experience kick back. Ultimately I don't know but I would probably stick to good old fashioned methods of stump grinding rather than using one of these blades, self preservation aside there is no harm in trying.

Lol in fairness I forgot about that bit!! :-D lol kind of did it on a spur of the moment thing :-P then got so in to how relatively weak even the "strongest" / highest rated lock was! I mean yeah it's noisy and clearly not subtle but it makes mince meat out of virtually everything you put near the blade!! :-D

@@mikesptworld After this video I am adding 1 mm discs to my shopping list, I think the smallest I have for my 4 1/2 inch grinder (north america lol) is 2 mm. This might be why my tiny works makerx grinder cuts so fast, it has a thin cutoff wheel.

Болгарка хорошая, мощности вполне достаточно. Из недостатков - нет регулировки скорости, а на зеленой worx такая регулировка есть. Аккумуляторы она высаживает достаточно быстро, хотя сами аккумуляторы worx должны бвть неплохие, в них стоят ячейки samsung.

Я знаю, что вы имеете в виду, я редко нахожу необходимость при резке или шлифовке использовать переменную скорость, мне проще изменять давление при использовании шлифовальных и лепестковых дисков, но я никогда не сталкивался с переменной скоростью, надеюсь, это хорошо для вас, мой друг. Майк

I chose not to buy one of these when Worx was having a huge discount on because of all the customer comments moaning about batteries not lasting long. How quickly did it chew through your batteries? I notice you have the 4ah battery which I don’t think it comes with so I suppose that helps. I have a 4ah battery too I could use but comments made it sound like a battery operated grinder is a non-starter!

Haha, it depends how you use it, it is powerful enough to do whatever a corded one can, though it does it safely, it has auto cut off technology inside that prevents kick back and blade shatters, when it detects a huge current spike it kills power, it stopped me from getting a nasty slice potentially in the video, as with any cordless tool you will nearly always suffer a run time issue over the flexibility to operate the tool anywhere, my neighbour who is a retired fabricator on commercial lorry trailers took it and used a grinding disc as a cutting disc to cut through some 1 inch box steel, he then agreed it had equal power to his bosch corded grinder. It never lacks power but it does have a limited run time, though that is like saying a bugatti veyron is useless because the fuel tank only lasts 12 minutes when going flat out, but a Ford mondeo can do a 12 hour drive and still have ¼ tank left in it.... you pay for the power and convenience of it being cordless rather than thethered to the mains, I will be performing some endurance tests on all my tools in a series of shorter less detailed videos, with simple tool, challenge, sped up video of challenge with timer in frame, result format, all tests with either 2ah for the small tools, 4ah for medium drain tools and mighty 6ah packs for the big stuff like garden machinery etc.

It worx just as well but can suffer from voltage low drop cut offs from high current drain situations, again blade choice, and material variations will affect your individual outcome.

Is this the same angle grinder as the Worx nitro angle grinder here in North America? It says brushless and looks exactly like the nitro.

It's is, though there are 2 different ones one is a 115mm the other is 125mm or 4½" and 5" if you like.

Try 5:17 in the video, appologys you couldn't wait an extra 1:17 for sparks to fly, I try to be as detailed as possible in my videos but I'm sure you can find many needless "sparks from grinders in less than 4 minutes" videos using the search bar, applogys for taking up an additional 17 seconds to write your comment and post and an additional 1 minute reading this reply, you could have skipped ahead in this time and saved a lot of time and effort at the same time in doing so. Unfortunately I too have have wasted my time and effort in replying, or better still find a better more covert way of extrapolating revenge.
