Worx Landroid S charging station issues - SOLUTION

Many people seem to have issues with the charging station. This sometimes is a simple issue of the station not being placed correctly and the charging pins not connection correctly to the base. This video shows how it shouldn't be and how it should be and a simple solution for the problem.

Just what I was looking for. It is installed on grass and I have tried to correct the allignment several times. This worked. Thank you

Nice solution! From your video, it seems that the charging column is not on the lawn but rather over a higher border, so it is only natural that the alignment of the contacts is not optimal. But you found a great simple solution, well done! I have seen several videos on KZbin that show a perfect match between the charger and the robot.

You are right, my placement is probably the cuplrit. The thing is - the border WAS at the same level as the grass, but after some time the grass died under the station and the station was not even anymore. So it WAS working for over a month and suddenly my landroid sometimes (not always) shut itself off when at base (the power connection is not stable). I just put it here publicly to show how it should and should not be - whatever the reason. I do know, that in my case it is my own fault, and when placed correctly the connection is working :-)

Btw, did you put the concrete tiles in order to allow the robot to cut to the edges? I'm planning to do exactly the same in my garden :)

yes exactly. Although it seems I will still have to cut the grass at the edges about every 2 months... I'll do a new video showing how it looks like after some time

Hey, i have a question regarding the paving/garden stones in all of your videos: i've been looking everywhere for them but can't find them at my local stores, i have a Worx Landroid S of my own, and i'd like to get these sloped interlocking stones, problem is, i don't know the name of them? so i was wondering, do you know what these stones are called, and where did you purchase them? i'm from denmark, and looking at your replies from the other videos, i think you are from germany? i hope you can tell me name of these stones, and where you bought them. :)

omg, I am sorry. I never even saw your comment :-( I am from Austria - close enough :-) I bought them at a local hardware store. I just looked online, and they don't seem to have them anymore. I don't think they have a special name, they are not really special. Simple cobblestone basically. Did you get them in the end?

In my mind (i am getting a robot soon), or course the best charging place would be on a gravel surface or some other solid ground. ;)

Ist doch klar der Rand ist höher die Fläche der Station nicht eben . Das gleichen die steinigen aus weil dort der vordere Reifen ist

richtig. Der Punkt war, dass das nicht von Anfang an so war (der Boden bzw. das sterbende Gras unter der Station haben zu der Unebenheit beigetragen). Und das war eine einfache Lösung für mein Problem ;)
