@@bluebullbuffalo turret somewhat workeable but hull is just like shit. They debuffed the gun. Normally the tank was workeable with the gun and turret but espacially with this meta this tank is shit. Gun is not so special and some tanks van hit your turret with premmo so idk.

Got the tank before the update and now I can confirm that it’s well worth the grind. Nearly as much HP as a maus with sandbag and 750 avg damage per shot. Very weird armor profile that can get a lot of bounces

Yesterday when I was playing with my T92 E1 in Helen map I got slapped by an HE shell that delt 1200 Damage to me. Than when I checked the tanks I neither saw a 183 nor a Jageroo. Than the Vk 72 got spotted at the back and then I realised, he was the happiest tanker at that moment ;D

I actually agree with Happy and Pantoufleee this time. The tank didn't change at all. The play style and everything else didn't change. Only little more damage and more HP. It is still the same old tank. Not an actual Buff.

Obviously the play style won’t change. Cause all you’re getting is higher alpha. Your armour is pretty much the same. And I don’t think it’s a buff. They just brought in tungsten shells and other provisions. I wouldn’t call it a buff.

Tungsten carbide is used in armor piercing ammo only, also depleted uranium, it was never used for he ammo, furthermore Germany doesn't have any naturally occurring tungsten deposits and all of the tungsten that Germany can get is imported from Spain and Portugal, Germany never had enough tungsten carbide to use in their ammo, what people don't understand is that tungsten carbide is also used in the machining of steel, all of the tungsten that Germany ever got during the war was used for this purpose, in fact Germany was completely out of tungsten carbide by 1944, in fact more panther tanks were lost due to final drive failure then was ever lost to enemy fire because they couldn't use tungsten in the gears of the tank transmissions because they didn't have enough tungsten, Germany never used tungsten ammo during the war because of extreme shortages, the u.s. had tonnes of them, it was due to copper shortages that any tank designed and built by Ferdinand Porsche couldn't be implemented, but all of the tanks designed and built by Ferdinand Porsche could go just as fast in reverse as they could going forward because they were Diesel electric, if they wanted to distinguish the vk 72 line they could have increased the revers speed to match their forward speed, in case you don't know any tank with a p after it was designed by Ferdinand Porsche wich I believe would add a lot of distinction to the German tech tree, I just think that wargaming is getting lazy because they just willy nilly add tungsten to the German tech tree because they were adding it to other tech trees instead of doing something that was unique for the German tech tree that Germany was actually capable of doing, furthermore the Hodgkin's machine guns that everyone can buy and put on their tanks was invented by an American living in France during WW1 and everyone used them during WW1, therefore the only tank I believe in the game that should be using the Hodgkin's machine gun would be the tog, otherwise the American WW2 tanks would have used either the m30 30 caliber machine gun or the m2 50 cal machine guns, Germany would have used the mg 42 after during and after 1942, I think that British machine guns should be on British tanks, the Russian machine guns on Russian tanks, American on American and etc, instead of putting the appropriate machine guns on the appropriate tanks they make snow ball launchers, if wargaming wanted to actually make something amazing they could once you're tank is destroyed and you are told to bail out you could have one of your teammates come bye and pick you up and you could man the machine gun on top of their tank and help spot, maybe shoot an occasional squirrel or enemy tank for one hp worth of damage per machine gun round, I truly believe that wargaming is capable of far better but instead they seem like they are just creating bright colored skins and lie and call it camouflage, I have never heard of navy seals using neon and or florescent lights for camouflage but I am stuck using it on my ice breaker, if the grill has such terrible camouflage rating even if darkly painted then why do tanks with brightly colored phosphorescent paint have better camouflage rating than the grill, have a great day all

Don't push hard like its a tiger II , its fast speed is pretty useful for luring opponents to shoot but just miss by going up and down if your in a hill , hide your underplate (forgot the name) move your turret , don't over do it or you'll get pen

i think everyone just likes to hate the 72, partially because they hate playing against them and bouncing shells. btw it does not have the lowest dpm either the kran does and the 72 is within 100 dpm of about 70% of the t-10 heavies. i look at it as more a personal preference of having more armor or more speed or more dpml everyone is different i seen a lot of people pull off spectacular matches with the 72 7k plus damage and 5k pus absorbed and totally controlled the battle in most cases. so to each his own i guess. also remember tanks with inflated dpm because of fast reloads dont always fire so their actual dpm is much lower than stated

I think that E100 is now just being left behind and is becoming more usless every update. First they released 60tp that is much better in my opinion and now they gave tungsten to vk that was already better than E100 so it doesent eaven have the biggest gun for a heavy anymore. For me there is no point in using E100 anymore if you have all the other super heavies

I still think the tank is bad maybe it's just how I play it but it is a good thing that it got the consumables because the e100 is just better at every way but when I play it I see no difference like the you rarely even maximize your tungsten because of the bad gun and very long reload time I still think that the e100 and 60tp is much more better than the vk idk I've just played 10 games with the new vk and I've still find and de same no felling really changes idk that's what I just feel and my opinion but I think that the 60tp is much more better or the e100

Its gun its litterally just an E100 gun only diffrence its has a longer reload of 2 seconds (max crew) and the E100 is definitely not better in every way its turret armor and plate sucks being easily pen with AP and Heat/Apcr

Literally everyone I met playing the VK 72 were just bad. Like so bad. But they did a lot of damage. The mistake they did was pull forward even tho they knew there are tanks in front of them. And it’s funny how they were aiming at that one 183 in my team (who wasn’t even aiming at the vk) and not the 3 tanks who were shooting him lol. I honestly won’t grind for this tank cause I just don’t seem to like it so much. Btw droodles can you make a tutorial of how to play the 57 heavy. I kinda struggle to play the tank. Especially in maps where hull down tanks dominate. I want to be more effective in such maps and try helping out my team but it’s kinda hard.

why are tungsten shells better than adrenaline in your opinion? cuz in mine, it's not. Both increase your damage, but adrenaline is cheaper and the 10% module dmg chance gives it the edge over tungsten.

Not droodles but tungsten allows for a very consistent hit (minimum of ~660) which is way better than having a chance to low roll & in a lot of cases, you won't get the 2nd shell out fast enough to profit from the adrenaline.
