Yeah he is a very fun unit. Follow up attacks can throw your opponents’ AOE res out the window.

As someone who has been excited for Irvine thanks a lot for the insightful guide! Question though - do the limited additional abilities on the Gaia actually apply to Irvine's main job? Or are you recommending it even though they don't?

Im new to the game, how can I get the Ragnarok model accessories?

It will be available from the Trials of Reckoning event, should be available next week. It could be a bit hard to get a +5 but if your account is new. Try to get as much of the Ragnarok recipes as you can, you will need 63 recipes to craft a +5. I recommend the shield type for all 3 FFVIII units.

Yes that’s correct. You can have 3 follow up attacks go off with Irvine, Bartz & Lightning (or anyone that can self follow up) together 😁

It's more a manual unit than auto no ? Do you know if Prompto Irvine works in manual ?

In manual, he likely will need both range +1 support abilities equipped. Prompto might not have enough damage, I think Ice Alaya or Summer Jayden are better teammates for Irvine. If you are looking to run a dark missile combo, be sure to give them the pursuer VC to boost their missile damage.

@@kt7up7 Thanks buddy, i will try Irvine Prompto if we get his 140 and lemure. I feel they will lack dps but if it work ill give you a feedback if not i will try with alaya yes
