Totally agree its worth it just to do this as a new player to build that VC base. Maybe even a few times. I would recommend grabbing only Dark Esper or Holo VCs since they are each tougher to acquire and more difficult to level than other VCs. Job VCs can be pretty intimidating to pick, but Blood of the Future and Between Hope and Despair are both two very good VCs that cover a lot of common weapon types.

Great point on doing this a few times to get a solid VC foundation built! Also, you're right about it being so hard to acquire and level dark VCs. I actually have a bunch of VC shard summon tickets I've just been sitting on waiting to actually get a dark VC to level and so far having no luck, so these banners were pretty huge for me.

@@gamesuspectamy Totally, Im still tempted to do this in my very developed account honestly. You get 2.8k vis per week in a normal week (the FF7 AC banners are weird as we get more per "week"). After leaving for a year and coming back it would still be a good value for my very developed account.

I played like 2 months, quit at zidane and came back for sephiroth and I got dark ifrit, dark shiva and dark ramuh and it really helped my team a lot. Plus I got a week of free sephiroth 10 pulls and 3 or 4 free 10 pull tickets for sephiroth. Maybe like 10k free viz and 400 uoc shards for any unlimited unit. Was pretty good. I doubt you get all those things playing the game for 2 weeks. I plan on quitting for 2 weeks before any unit I want to pull for so I get a shitload of free pulls and medals for it

Considering the bonus was big, such as the guaranteed free Cloud for special new/return account at this event, should time the comeback on BIG event like FFAC.. *edit: guaranteed for paid, but still get 4 times free 10 pull which is big too

@@gamesuspectamy my guess is because afaik the first week of the event is when you can get the banner. Your return happens during seph arrival which is its the 3rd or 4th week I guess? *edit : prob misleading its not guaranteed Cloud, the guaranteed was on paid my bad 🙏🏼

Btw i think it's noteworthy like you can get bonus guild reward even when not logged but for most ppl being away will net us getting kicked. You probably put the alt acc on your main acc guild so you still get reward. That's just my speculation though, I've been gone and back too much but there was no comeback reward like this before 😢

I feel like you'll get everything I've shown outside of the event, with the only difference being Seph and his coins wont be on the daily free 10 pull. It will just be a typical MR+ 10 pull.

Last July? like 11 months ago? yeah, it will work. I'm almost certain this will work every 3 weeks. My guess is that they wait for the 1 week comeback rewards to complete then start counting missed logins after that.

I think you can! So far I haven't heard of anyone NOT getting the rewards after being off for 2 weeks. I am thinking to test it myself.

I think so. That's what triggered it for me and that's what I'm hearing online. I waited 15 days just to be sure. I'm not sure if this will work under 14 days.

@@gamesuspectamy It's worth it even for older players, there aren't any good banners even if you always play, it's very rare, of course you have to account for the loss due to not logging in. By the way, did you leave a proxy active in the guild during those 14 days?

@@cerberu01 I did NOT turn on Proxy in GW for those 14 days (even though I probably should have), so I am guessing they must be Veritas shards for defense? I dunno. Can the Guild Leader turn it on for me?

@@gamesuspectamy I believe that the guild leader can put your defense team as a priority, but he cannot activate a proxy for you, he can only use your team if you have activated the proxy

I'm pretty certain it will give you the same rewards, you just wont get the 10 Seph pulls, you'll get normal MR+ 10 pulls instead.

My account is only ~2 months old. any idea if i took 15 days off and came back, if it would work for me? any idea if there is a threshold for accounts that are 'too new' where the comeback might not trigger?

I feel like it would work. I haven't heard of anyone leaving the game for 14 days and this not working. I am thinking of trying this back to back just to confirm. I'll let you know if I do.

You don't actually have to "log off", you just don't log into the game for 14 days and that should work. I did 15 days just to be sure
