I am in need of a healer; I was going to build Rinoa, but man I don't know now! lol What other healers are available? I want to pull Sol, but don't have Shalze. Would Naiah be ok for a healer I can build right away? I know she at least has full life/twice, though she's fragile.

Oh!!! If you need a healer than Rinoa is excellent! Dont have to pull her, can just put packs into her and slow build her. Nothing wrong with making Rinoa your healer if you dont have any others available

She's a hundred percent a better rainbow support than shalza.the fun thing that could happen is an offensive tankless comp in manual leveraging Sylvies full heal with the glove core.

@@SpydersByte for most people it's going to be hard to gear shalza over ranoa specifically towards job cards since glove has a decent overlap with other jobs. If you have most vision cards there close enough that you can't go horribly wrong.

@@kipp14 I guess, but thats a slight difference as any unit that is on-banner is going to be easier to raise than ones that arent so anyone who just got Shalze probably also built her as easily as we'd build Rinoa now, the only real difference being the chocobo exp stage. But when I consider how good a unit is I dont really take into considering how easy or hard it is to build them, I just take their kit into consideration and looking at both I think Id rather have double reraise + revive over someone who has neither but has slightly stronger heals.

@@SpydersByte units have enough sources of shards that unless your doing something like high ranked arena or tor the problem isn't building the unit it's the out of element synergy that becomes a problem. For example two of my best units are glove users and two are red mage class which have very little crossover with staff devout but renoa being on almost all of the relevant red mage job vc is a massive plus for me since I can't play mono fire. Vc are much more important to build quickly now that there's a solid number of units with staying power in the pool.

@@kipp14 I mean yea, obviously what you have unit and VC-wise is going to affect what you personally value but thats YOUR value, Im trying to talk about objective qualities not based upon the teams I have but purely on what the unit can and cant do, just like what these videos do. Will isnt ranking these units based on how good they are for him, he's ranking them objectively so that anyone can use that ranking to decide value. I think Shalze objectively has a better toolkit to Rinoa, thats all. I didnt even pull for Shalze, and I wouldnt have pulled for Rinoa if she wasnt free, I already have full teams plus a spare or two for every element and neither of them would be a major worthwhile addition. sidenote: how often you gonna typo their names? lol "Shalza"? "Ranoa"? "Renoa"? Its Shalze and Rinoa 😅

also also, her haste is just herself plus a target where we've had Hastega and Guard Hastega for ages now. They really couldnt have just given her a full team haste? Come on now, thats dumb. ESPECIALLY considering her complete lack of reraise or even just raise! So literally all she does is just heal well. So disappointing.
