Reggie is 100% correct in this assessment. That tape wouldn’t have been brought to light if Pac hadn’t been shot and the PD now had to find a motive.

This was not a fight in somebody's house or in the Death row studios. This was out in public around 100s of witnesses and a lot of them obviously knew who 2pac was because they all followed him after the fight. Reggie is just trying to play dumb!

@@aarong3000 so what a random person there to see the Tyson fight is going out of their way to say Tupac got in a fight and attempt to report it? The victim didn’t even want to cooperate. That’s a reach.

@@stephenlee3495 Somebody that works at the hotel. Maybe a celebrity or a rapper that was there. How about somebody that had beef with Pac and was there and saw it and knew that it would violate his parole. You don't think that Puffy would've put that word out to the press and authorities behind the scenes during that time after all the shady stuff that Suge was doing with his child and baby mama. I guarantee that Keefe would've reached out to Puff to tell him about this if they kill him in Vegas that night!

That's 100 and I gotta give props to Reggie because all of those releases (mentioned) from 1997-2002 for the most part did good numbers despite the momentum had shifted to the east coast and slowly more to the south. Reggie's stats speak for itself. 2Pac even posthumously as an artist help kept Death Row Records going. He was still posthumously part of the roster and still the biggest artists on Death Row.

Reggie is avoiding the main subject. The main subject is not how DR handled the OLD recordings, but hot DR handled the NEW recordings. Yeah, what new recordings?! The problem is that DR continued to live in the PAST, and of course, the PAST is always limited. How many Greatest Hits and Parody Chronic 2000's can u release? Reggie is avoiding that DR couldnt secure new real talent and produce new music. They were stuck on 90s artists. Thats because they were bigger than life in the 90s, and even they couldnt belive their sudden downfall after Pac died. Im not saying Reggie isnt a good man. He is. But lets face the facts. DR went bankrupt. And what new memorable music came from DR in the 2000's?
@clopotari147
@clopotari147 2 жыл бұрын
@@reggiewright u had a real hard job, Reggie, and I know that times were against DR. I really doubt someone else could have saved DR in those days, cause it was not only up to the CEO. And I belive it was real hard to sign new talent in those days, because all the drama DR gained. Suge had a lot of luck in running that company, cause it was pretty chaotic back in the days, but that was eclipsed by the masiv talent your artists had. I work in the insolvency field, and I see your role more like a crisis administrator. And I do belive u guys aknowledged DR was in crisis in the early 2000s. History will remember you, cause at least u done ure best, putting out old music just like in the days. And for all Tupac true fans, Greatest Hits, Still I rise, Until the end of time and Better Dayz are a sun better than the other Pac releases like Pacs Life or Loyal to the Game, which are garbage. Respect, Reggie. History will remember you.

Funny, I was thinking about Tha Realest & Top Dogg just now. I remember when I was a kid & hearing the remix of All About U. I thought it was Snoop Dogg but when I got older & interviews surfaced, one stated suge tried to get them dudes to sound similar to pac & snoop. I also heard Jewell got mad & called out Tha Realest for copying pacs style but she was on some of his songs which I found odd. That's what they should ask him about, bet he'll laugh about that whole scenario.

Dude what are you talking about? First, John and Reggie have known each other for like 20-something years and worked for the same company that is literally the topic of discussion! Second, John has been asking similar questions on this channel for a decade to multiple ppl on THIS channel, so how is it Reggie's "agenda?" If anything he's trying to clear up rumors from ppl like Delray, Nick Broomfield, Phil Carson, etc. Of course he's gonna say things against ppl he doesn't like if those ppl are straight up lying and he was directly involved with the truth. This isn't rocket science here.

If that shooting/ murder had not happened, that attack would have been surely seen and investigated. And it would have been proven that the attackers were Tupac Shakur, Suge Knight and DeathRow associates. Thing like that don't just happen involving victims (or in Orlando's case, someone that had that coming.) and it doesn't come to surface. Even in the 90's, that beat down would have made it across the world (and officials) that Tupac and DeathRow beat up someone after a Mike Tyson fight at the MGM. We're talking Las Vegas. I will bet that tape had been reviewed twice and reported on paper by each security guard there, before the retaliation. But WE can only be certain on what DID happen. And for the one that claiming DeathRow had no hits after Makavelli, I say that is wrong. ©2022

@@rogerjones1611 I don't recall the Comedy Store Brawl making the news. Nor the incident with the BDs in Chicsgo. Or the beatdown of the guy who stole his jewelry during the filming of Juice. His comrades denote multiple other run ins and scraps Pac was involved in that never reached the spotlight of a news report or a court date. The Vegas incident fits the profile of a situation that could have gotten minimal publicity. Especially being the victim was a gang member unlikely to snitch or want to press charges. Plus cops weren't looking for Pac that night after the incidentt. Southside was.
@emblem2425
@emblem2425 2 жыл бұрын
@@rogerjones1611 Bruh.. no police were looking for Pac or Suge after the incident. Orlando probably just replied "I dunno" 50 times that night The cops were not gonna put too many resources into finding simple assault perps of an uncooperative gang member victim. Reggie who was a cop he knows this. The reason the investigation went so far was solely because Pac got shot. So We saw exactly what Southside would do in response to the assault and it was not to put the police on em.

"May 1998, a Five-Deuce Hoover Crip that I know came to me saying he knew who killed Tupac Shakur. He told me that Sharitha Knight and Reggie Wright were behind the murder. "CI says at first there was a get together in Balboa Park in the San Fernando Valley for different gangs. This was disguised as a Blood/Crips truce meeting. But it was really a feeler for Wright to see how much it would take to get Tupac hit. Wright wanted rights to all Tupac's material. "He says it was Wright who - on the night of Tupac's murder - told the killers where Tupac would be, along with Suge. Those not in on the plan that night were sent to the 662 Club in Las Vegas. "There were 3 hitmen hired to do the job: Gregory Harris Smith aka "Lil Half Dead” (dob 11-28-79), Malcolm Shabbaz Patton (dob 1972), and Danny Eugene Patton aka "Whiteboy" (dob 1974).
