The level increase would do nothing good. The only thing they will increase is Relic levels. They may add some kind of conversion for training droids, but i dont think they ever increase the cap.

I would love a level increase to 100 so long as all the current content stays the same difficulty. Future content obviously could be made harder for the level 100's.

I'm not sure they would do a level gap increase. In msf, each increase is tied to a new gear tier. With the advent of relics, there is nowhere to go gear wise. If they were going to add another "power chase", then red stars is more likely. Maybe linked to getting more shards?? [Not a fan of the idea but a possibility]

Yeah they don't need to increase the level cap. However if they do knowing it'll be built around relic levels. Like example to get to lvl 90 they would want you at like r5, lvl 95 at like r7 and r9 would allow you to get to a 100. Then that's when you can go to r10 is to have a r9 lvl100 character. Something dumb like that would be something I can see cg doing. However, credit and training droid increase would definitely happen first through the challenges. Then other areas as well. Again lvl increase definitely not needed. But knowing cg some way they will do it. Also side note at worse case they do it, I can see them putting the level in it's normal spot and the relic level at the top of the portrait

my modding is capped by credits thats with jabba and the bros assault battles. i'm in the mid game and credits is one of my biggest bottlenecks especially with all the new marques that need leveling for the free shards in there events. so i have to decide to spend my raid currency on credits or gear. not a fan of the red star idea i've played MSF and theres a never ending upgrade. level cap and modding are the only thing that make this game different then the rest. requires knowledge and skill not just having the highest level as theres always a counter to find

Modding? He is talking about level cap not mods. Don't worry about credits. You get lots and eventually they pile up. I just blow them on upgrading every character to level 53 so I can buff my GP for rote. At less than two years played I still spend them as fast as I get them but I'm never hurting for enough to do something important.

@@batmanwins5701 he's asking what the problem would be if they increased the level cap and thr cost would be high to level up your roaster and if u have to many credits you're not modding correctly or enough. i'm over 8mil gp and still need credits

@@Ren2G-kylo I'm 7.6 and I have a billion mods, Its just the mats to upgrade grade them that are my challenge..it takes so long to farm those. Wish I had Jabba, his event would be a big help. I've got characters sitting with great mods that just need to go to 6 dots so badly.

I dont see how they could increase the level cap. Would we have a gear level increase as well? I feel that it only makes sense to increase relics at this point.

I see two paths for a level increase. The first would be that it doesn't actually affect clothes character level cap at all, but just unlocks a new gamemode. The second would be a character level increase. I would then display the level on the bottom of the character portrait, and move the relic counter to the top, where there's also a gap. And the new levels would then unlock a new character upgrade mechanic. We could equip more gear, but I feel that would not be worth it. We could for example introduce something similar to MSF's Iso-8. It's something like mods but not quite. Instead of mods with individual primary and secondary stats, you have 5 slots with assigned stats that you just upgrade. And when you upgrade all slots to a certain level you can upgrade the core. There you can choose a 'role' for each character, which gives special properties, and makes characters able to interact with a status effect that is exclusive to all those roles(e.g. the Striker attacks again on targets with that effect, the Skirmisher inflicts it). If that path is chosen you could also leave the relic level down there and put the indicator for the new system up. And now that I think about it, even for that system you wouldn't have to introduce a new character level cap, just make it unlock on all characters at lvl 85 when Player lvl 90 is hit.

MSF Iso-8 mechanic is absolute worst kind of trash I've ever seen in a game. GoH does not need anything even resembling that system. That adds a whole other layer of headaches to the ones that are already in the game.

I think the progression things they can add at the moment based on what they have are more levels, more stars, more gear, and more relics, and maybe more mod levels and ability levels, but those are far less likely. I think, if anything, they should add a red star system or similar, (from MSF) where it is only reliant on character rarity, giving increases of health, protection, defence and offence in incraments like 2%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 25%, 35%, 50% or something, depending on number of red stars, that overlap on the current amount of stars. Eg a character at 7 stars with 3 red stars would have a 10% boost. That way they might just need to add a new currency and new store, rather than relying on credits. However, I am in the mid-game ish range where that could potentially cripple my account lol, so don't take it too seriously CG

I welcome a level cap increase. Part of what makes this great is the progression and feeling of accomplishment. But instead of XP, maybe 85 - 90, you could unlock levels based on accomplishments, sort of like a GL journey.

…….mate i don’t even think you understand just how terrible that idea is. That would literally alienate 90% of the playerbase since everyone with the gl’s already has an advantage but strip people of the ability to keep up even on levels and riots will happen

@@nekogaming5300 Why would this prevent people from staying competitive? It’s simply another method of progression (or a continuation of the current system). Would Relic levels 10, 11, or 12 stop people from keeping up? Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean I don’t understand the progression system or it's a terrible idea. Come on!
