Did you have a camshaft snap on you? I did going down the Cajon Pass in Cali going into Los Angeles - that was a 2015 Pete 579 with a Paccar MX 13 engine - those engines have a bad reputation. There was a recall on those camshafts because they were improperly heat-treated. The truck was down for a month while the parts were ordered and then the engine had to be reassembled, as when the camshaft let go it took out the #5 cylinder. The engine has to be lifted out to get to the camshaft and rebuild the cylinder and head. Good thing it was still under warranty!

@kentr2424 Never happen. The engine has had a new cylinder head put on it before I bought it. Found out lots of info on Rig Dig. Just normal wear and tear so far. A/C compressor went out today, so a video on that is coming up. Repaired water pump, clutch fan, transmission, shocks, 5th wheel cylinder, battery cable and plenty of air lines and coolant lines. But for 4yrs of constant work, that seems reasonable.
