The team's decision regarding Wally was a great representation of presidential democracy - Lee and Richard both decide to give Jermaine the decision and his decision ends up not being what either of them wanted

Greer is also wrong about the ducklings the mother won’t reject them.
@swskitso Жыл бұрын
I was told without their mothers grooming them the ducklings feathers will not provide surface tension required to swim. I once watched a duckling swim out into the river, sink and never came up when I asked someone more familiar that's what they told me.

@Arms_Akimbo Жыл бұрын
@101wormwood shockingly, there are different types of ducks, which consequently means that, depending on the type, the ducklings look differently too. Germaine Greer was talking about mallards, whose ducklings aren't yellow.

My guess would be they do more than make the final cut, and they keep the stories (fictional and real) that played the best and also fit the total time best. I say this, because I suspect there was at least one that was left on the cutting room floor that may one day come to light as bonus footage.

"There once was a man from Nantucket Who kept all his gold in a bucket His daughter named Nan Ran off with a man And as for the bucket, Nan took it" Now you have to say it in an early American accent so that it rhymes and you have the original limerick.

@@MelissaThompson432 lucky you. I’m starting to think it’s a time-of-day thing. Certain videos are merely bookended by ads at one time, then the same vid at a different time has literally two ads every 2-2.5 minutes throughout.

@@MelissaThompson432 One day I'll sit down and diligently collect some actual data around it. So far my only other hunch is that the youtube app on my phone detects either/both my face through the selfie camera or the accelerometer sensor in the phone that detects when I'm holding it. If I leave the phone on a solid surface and simply listen to the video I swear there are fewer ads. For sure if I'm paying attention to a true crime or ghost story, right at the climactic reveal there's always some jarring, jaunty ad for fast food or disneyland or something, I swear.
