a few things to point out: -the fruit bushes are kind of useless since you turned hunger off -thr architechts cannot use most of the ores, since their cultures are not good enough to make armorfrom it, and the culture develops slowly since they are stupid -different races (orcs and humans) cannot capture each other's cities, only destroy -the traits (dumb and intelligent) generally don't pass down if you do not have a mod for it.

If you look at the bottom right, the game shows the version that it's being run on. If the version text is gray, that means the game is running normally, bug-free and vanilla. If the version text is red, that means the game has encountered a serious error. If the version text is blue, that means the game is modded. Now that you know this, go back to the video and check the version text at the bottom right... Edit: specifically, check the version text after he's spawned the units in and is saying the traits will pass down

As someone who plays world box here is some advice The stupid and genius traits only affect technology research and the reason why the engineers didn't populate is because they need food to reproduce Next time a better idea could be enchanted vs corrupted since people in the enchanted biome get the blessed trait ( basically what it says on the tin a whole bunch of buffs) while the people in the corrupted biome get the cursed trait which turns them into skeletons and ghosts when they die which is great for wars since they can kamikaze undead at their enemies downside is they can easily get overun with undead themselves

Rce villages with diffrent colours are of diffrent kingdoms so they wont work together so you should have killed all the other kingdoms for it to be fair And i think you need a mod to make sure that traits pass down the generations cuz in game the chances are low And diffrent races wont take other races villages they just distroy them(orcs are op)

Engineers are better than architects, as long as they have divine help, the ability to become orcs, randomly falling nuclear bombs, resources after a few years, a shit ton of traits, and agresive architechture in their builds. Completely balanced.

To be completely pedantic. Architects have s lightly higher than average starting salary but long term their average late term salary is still a bit lower than most similar fields. Depending on the are of engineering low levels may be low to high paying but later levels are all pretty well paid. For every millionaire architect paid to design leaky houses, there's an engineer CEO of a military industrial company or leader of a foreign nation. (Xi and Angela Merkal were both engineers,Jimmy Carter was a navy nuke before returning to his family farm and eventually entering politics.)

They can pillage the dead, so engineers despite not having resources can have good gear taken from the slain architects. Not to mention that once the resources are used up they'll all just be swapping gear.
