I feel like lobster being considered punishment food makes sense when you consider the way people used to cook everything to death. They were probably chewing on fishy erasers back in the day the way they overcooked everything. Even looking at cookbooks from as recently as 40-50 years ago all meat was cooked gray, chewy, dry. Vegetables were boiled to mush.

Also candy corn is made with honey so I guess that's technically the flavor? Never got the hate. Not my favorite but don't think it's the worst candy like so many people think 🤣

David really should just buy reps. They've blown up in sneaker scene recently because production on reps have evolved so much that people really can't tell the difference anymore. By people, I don't even mean collectors or just regular people, I mean actually authenticators know that a lot of reps now are identical to the originals. So cheaper or at least original price for expendable shoes. A lot of collectors are literally buying 2 pairs of the same shoe, one for display/collect and the other for wear.

About the lobster feeling pain thing, I work in a lab and we had a professor get lobster high before cooking them because the idea is that a traumatic death will actually affect the meat as it cooks. A more relaxed animal as they die produces a more tender meat. I don't know how far the research went.
