I think that open relationships are desire based which makes it selfish hence why people always get hurt because an agreement doesn’t stop feelings being felt. Very nice. 16:57 by that definition, then every relationship is an open relationship, which essentially defeats the point of the distinction. We may as well just call both open- and closed-relationships as relationships (period). That is, a romantic relationship is a personal relationship with a person, where you both define the terms. Hmmm. This makes me understand that the terms, open- and closed-relationship are really just two extreme points on the relationship-spectrum. That is, one couple may define their terms more closely to the closed- side while another may define their terms more close to the open- side. Interesting... Very good video! 💯

For any relationship to actually work and survive, it depends on just the couple. So if they agreed on an open relationship and it's conditions, they will be alright. My take on it however would be if it's a relationship and not marriage, I don't mind agreeing to an open relationship or monogamous one. It's the respect and loyalty of love for me. But if it's marriage, I am choosing a monogamous marriage cos it's a home we building.
