Pneumonia is so horrible man. My dad once had it, and he was so close to dying, just on the couch knowing his lungs were literally collapsing. He just had to accept his fate. Except, that fate never happened, fortunately. He is still alive today!

It's no joke! I got it this past spring and was hospitalized for 3 days. My highest recorded temperature was 107.5F. I felt like I was drowning and no matter how much I coughed, hardly anything came up. It was far worse than either of the two times I had COVID.

Fortunately, bacterial pneumonia is quite simple to deal with. Pneumonia used to kill many, but due to modern treatment, it's not nearly as bad. It's still definitely not fun, though.
