Enjoy hearing the coaches. Lot of great coaching wisdom.

I'd argue it's the opposite take with Sark and Quinn when it comes to playcalling. Quinn in a 2 minute drill is a dramatically different QB than the other 3 quarters. Him audibling has resulted in 3 TD's in the last 2 games. Sark gets too conservative with any type of lead and it takes the the entire offense out of sync.

Sark gotta let Quinn take the keys more. I think Quinn a better play caller than Sark.
@ClayG_314 күн бұрын
@ I wouldn’t go that far, but I think he’s had a lack of faith in him this year. At the end of the day, Quinn is on the field and Sark isn’t. If he sees something that could work better than what was supposed to be ran, I think he needs more of that freedom to change it

Big factor was the amount of time our defense was on the field. Reduce that number by 20-30 plays and their offense would have been far less productive.

Coach Sark just needs to adjust his play calling on certain down and distances. There is no need for deep shots on manageable downs and we need to be more methodical. Just because the offense has the ability to score at will doesn’t mean we always play that way

Was Sark playing with a limited playbook in this game? There’s a lot of things we normally do that I didn’t see much of or we went away from in this game - screens, jet sweeps, etc. I wonder if he was purposely not trying to show much on film.

Started strong, and then started looking at the next game. What is the avg. plays for a defense vs the ASU game? As a fan watching it seemed like the D was on the field far more than they should. What is the most plays a Texas defense has played in a single game? They were great but gassed by the end. It was 95+ plays. Is that usual? Please stat check me.

There should definitely be a chance at a turnover this week. I gotta believe OSU sees that and is going to try a punter pass; an up back direct snap or a gunner in motion to a jet sweep. Banks better be on top of this. Since The Spec Team Analyst left and Banks got married his unit been the weak link of this team

Any potential FG outside of 30 yds is too miss-able for Auburn. Horns need to go for it on 4th down everytime outside the red zone because of the inaccurate mid to long-range FG accuracy.

I think it’s crazy with how bad special teams as a whole has been all year and having the offensive lulls that they have made it to the semifinals. If Texas puts a full game together, no reason Texas can’t beat Ohio State

Sark couldn't have been looking ahead to OSU unless you mean OSU/Oregon. They played after us. Y'all know more than I do, but does a coach look ahead to two teams when he doesn't know which one he'll be playing??

Is Sark gonna go Down as the coach couldn’t get it done ? Because it’s obvious who should be the starting QB is. Manning ability to complete the Deep Ball is consistent, Manning ability to Run the Ball is a bigger Threat and complements Sark capability to open up the playbook vs Sark having to limit the Playbook to accommodate Ewers a QB that is probably nothing more than at Best than a back up QB in the NFL because of his inconsistency to complete the Deep Ball always fall short. To Beat Ohio Texas has to have a balanced offense and Texas is still struggling to run the Ball. Can’t do that this Deep in playoffs especially against Ohio. Jim Knowles already has Sarks number when he was with OSU. So for Ohio it’s just another day at work. At Texas the alumni is EXTREMELY unforgiving and getting to the final 4 and loosing it again like they lost to WASHINGTON last year id hate to be Sark to face Texas Alumni if Texas looses to Ohio. Sark has to get it done or the pressure from Alumni will start to set in or Sark will be known as “The Coach That Couldn’t Get It Done” !

Arch would have lost that game 💯, and Sark isn't going anywhere.

Manning is going to have his struggles next year and maybe you’ll see that Sark was definitely making the right call with Ewers this year. I’m tired of hearing that Manning is the better qb when the guy hasn’t done anything to prove it. He started a few games against terrible football teams. Ewers has experience and has proven he can live up to the big moment. We’re better off with Ewers running the offense. Don’t get me wrong, I’m really looking forward to Manning taking over next year and I think he will be a better qb than Ewers by the end of next season, but he’s going to to have to play a full season before he gets to that point.
