Hope's progress has been so lovely to watch. Hard to imagine that this closed-down boxer, who pancaked constantly, has opened up so much that she begs for cuddles and has found her voice while playing with the pack. Just wonderful 😍

Rosco such a big powerful dog, yet he's surprisingly gentle when he plays with Luke. And Rosco can fit most dogs heads in his mouth but he never seems to hurt them. He really is a gentle giant at playtime ❤

I would play with him in a heartbeat💓. Rosco is a gentle giant to family members, I wouldn't like to meet him in a dark corner as a stranger though, I am pretty sure the grumble song would turn into a real tune. I will never forget his first day at the farm, with the side eye and the exposed fang 😃

Seeing the gentle horseplay makes me remember my gentle giant Doberman / Great Dane Budweiser. He was 66kg (145lbs), and when standing on his hind legs reached 1.8 meters (6 feet). He would play wrestle with me, grab my wrists or hands, but never with pressure. If we visited my parents, and my Dad went upstairs to get my Mum, he would wait patiently at the bottom of the stairs for her. When she got to him, he would heel beside her and walk her slowly to the table for breakfast while she put a hand on his shoulder for support. He was at the shelter for 90 days when I had adopted him, and had never been formally rained to help my mother. He just knew she needed help. Much like Freddo knew in the pool the day he pulled the girls back to the ramp. I'll only get shelter dogs. Their loyalty is without question, and their love knows no bounds. Thank-you Luke and Sam for all you do to help them be the very best they can be.

I know how you feel I fell in love with Roscoe the first time I've ever seen in the cage , I just started crying I couldn't help it to see such a large powerful dog breed that beautiful and that scared and angry it really hurt my heart and when he gave Luke that side eye,I just thought right then and there please Luke and Sam adopt this beautiful boy I was so worried about what would have happened to him if he ever left the farm,he is so special and he is so stunning he's gorgeous and he's so gentle with the pack and the kids and he's so loyal I love him so much he is my favorite and maybe it's because I own 2 mastiff breeds myself that I understand the breed and I couldn't imagine seeing my dog's in a cage that scared and upset, when I looked over at my Presa canerio he looks alot like Roscoe he's just a darker brindle than him ,I hope they do a DNA test on Roscoe I'm so curious to find out what kind of mastiff he is and what all he's mixed with,I've been so curious about it ever since he got to the farm, I love his mumble and grumbles and how jealous he gets when it comes to Luke , he really makes me laugh and I will never forget that Maggie was Roscoe first friend and how pathetic he looked the day Luke gave him his first bath and how handsome he looked when Luke put that sweater on him, when I look back on Roscoe journey,he really turned out to be a incredible dog he's definitely one in a million, I am so glad that he became part of the Evans family and he gets to enjoy the rest of his life on the farm with his pack mates and his family

I played with my dog this way, he was a big 120 lb Germain Wirehair Pointer who was constantly mistaken as a Irish Wolfhound. It was a great bonding time and a memory that I will never forget. Like Roscoe, he was a gentle, loving, an a protective amazing companion, who also loved to swim and chase after toys. So the answer to your question, would I play with this big Mastiff X? Absolutely! 🤗

I would give anything to play with Roscoe and cuddle up with him he's such a wonderful dog I love him just as much as I love my own dogs , Roscoe stole my heart from day one and I am so impressed with him he's so gentle with the pack and the kids but he takes his job so seriously, I would do anything to rough house with him and do bite work with him just for fun and hide treats in the bushes for him and Abra to go find I bet they would be so good at those kinds of games just for the fun of it , I would love to swim with him and throw the swiss ball in the pool he is so impressive

Yes - When I was younger, and stronger, I would rough house play with Roscoe. There are two reason: one, the just plain fun of it, but second, the need to routinely show that I was the alpha dog. The act of "pinning" him down on his back helps reinforce the alpha dog role for me. As a female, this was something I did with German Shepherds. Play wrestling was silly and fun and cuddly, but also had a purpose. These captions are great. Roscoe really wants to have Luke all to himself. "Got's my paw - oh, no!" peace
