They are not more $100 and they are soooo soft and cute. Would love to see y'all have a funeral director on to talk more funeral arrangements! Link! You don't have to be cremated - alkaline hydrolysis is environmentally friendly and leaves you with remains like cremated remains. So many options!

Cremation is far better for the environment than traditional burial. Sure, fossil fuels may power the crematorium, but other than that it doesn't vent anything into the atmosphere or anything, and it doesn't fill enormous fields with people who are medically treated to not decay inside of boxes designed not to decay in plastic clothes as in a traditional burial. There are other environmentally friendly options though, like being liquified or being buried buck nekkid without embalming in a compostable coffin with no, or a temporary, headstone.

Hey, just wanted to let y'all know there's now the option to have your body composted! Recompose is the company that does it. They have a facility near Seattle, WA, already, and more to come in a few other states (including CA) in a couple years. Environmentally friendly AND you can still have your kids spread your remains haha.

As weird as it seems a natural burial would be great. Don’t like the idea of being in a vault underground forever, and cremation also seems like a strange way to go plus someone’s either gotta look after my ashes forever or find somewhere to spread them, like???
