@@hillppari Not always, especially public toilets. I don't know bout other places but in the UK, bathroom tap water isn't drinking water. It's clean enough to be safe to clean with but not filtered to be good to drink. The pH usually isn't right and the tanks/pipes are nowhere near as well maintained/cleaned. I know in hotels/uni accommodations especially there are often signs next to bathroom sinks that say not to drink it. However, I know it's very up in the air with homes. It depends on how old your house is and its pipes setup. If you test your bathroom water n it's fine then sure but rule of thumb is to jus not drink it if you don't know for certain.

That was very based of Luca, though. One time my cousin got tea, and she didn't like it. But she was really nervous about asking for lemonade (she really liked how mine tasted). And in the end, I was able to help her work out what to say to the waitress and got a lemonade! She felt very happy about having gotten over her anxiety. From then on in, if one of us wanted something, but felt too shy to ask for what we wanted/needed/deserved: we'd say to the other "ask for the lemonade!" It became like...an inside joke of encouragement.

Yeah, the only change between a public sink and drinking fountain or bottle refill station might be an extra filter. But that's usually not required. The only difference is if they are using grey water for some reason, but that's usually at festivals if they have portable washing stations. Great water generally has soap and other chemicals, nit to mention whatever has already been washed off other people's hands.

It was the waiter's mistake to bring the syrup along with the drink, it doesn't make sense, no one would have died if he had brought the drink and sugar, but with his strange decision he made Mika feel uncomfortable. Some countries do not treat their watering system. I know that most European countries must put some treatment in place (nowadays, this is not chlorine, but better). Of course, if you go to a countryside family estate where the water comes from a well, and one of the neighbours has a stable, the other uses crop fertilisers...that's another question. People make too much fuss about bathroom sinks. If you have an immune system let it work a bit.

In my country (Austria) I can just refill the water anywhere. It is only recommended to leave the water running for a bit before drinking.
