ඒක නිසා තමයි මම කිව්වෙ ඕක කරන්න එපා (කියල). --> That's why I said don't do it. මම කිව්වනෙ අපි දිනනව (කියල). --> I said we'll win. මේ වගේ වාක්‍ය වල සිංහලෙන් කියනකොට "කියල" කියන අවසන් වචනයෙන් ඒක හරිම සම්පුර්ණ වාක්‍යයක දැනීමක් හඟවනව. 1) ඒත් අපිට ඒ අර්ථය ඒ විදියටම ඉංග්‍රීසියෙන් ලියන්න බෑ නේද? 2) ලියන එකේ ඔය "කියල" කියන වචනෙන් එන සම්පුර්ණ ගතිය ගන්න බෑ නේද? 3) නැත්නම් ඒ විදියට "කියල" කියන අර්ථය එන විදියට ඉංග්‍රීසියෙන් ලියන්නෙ කොහොමද?
