Wound cleansing such as mechanical debridement in chronic wounds: Guideline-based wound care requires many work steps, carefully carried out.
In this video series, the individual steps of the ideally moist treatment of a chronic wound are shown using a concrete case study.
The ideal-typical treatment situation shown in the video represents an optimal case of wound care, which cannot always be fully realized in everyday care due to e.g. spatial conditions (e.g. home care). However, many individual steps of guideline-compliant wound care can also be carried out under these difficult conditions. The video should help with that.
Part 2 explains professional wound cleaning using mechanical debridement.
