Hey again! First time doing a commentary AFTER footage was recorded so messing with audio settings and stuff and had fun making this. Insightful looking back at things you've done, always. Enjoying this game a lot, problems aside, and wanted to share my first actually good attempt at fighting a drake without any sort of "cheese". Warrior is my favourite. Thief a close second. Warrior is just as effective imo. Nothing compares to an arc of might on the head 😂

When can you get wounded heart? Can I get it at any point in the game or after a certain mission it unlocks?

You can purchase it anytime in the volcanic island area. It's about 60k I think.

Not exactly sure but as you level up and progress the quest they become more common.

In DD1 I used to smack as sorcerer on some wyrms but I wanted to do big bonk warrior this time. I don't purposefully hunt them right now, either, so I always take a balanced team while questing and such. Main thing for me is the 10k gold quests on the pawns and I'm happy. 😅

Would you say Wounded heart would be the strongest for the warrior? Not counting any Ng+ weapons

Couldn't say. I'm not even done with the main story yet. Got super side tracked 😅 but it's good! Lots of weapons are good for specific monsters, too (extra dmg vs griffins, fire damage, blunt for rock enemies, etc.)

@ddubbeleim Ah thank you, I've been mainly using Gryphic Victory until I saw how better the stats were for Wounded heart, I'll probably go for that one while also keeping Cinderspine for that blunt damage

Wounded heart for raw damage, cyclopean thunder probably best overall, and cinderspine for fire weakness.

@MunitionsDudTester Ah sweet! I didn't know about that weapon, would you recommend Dwarven Smith or the Battahli for the enhancements? I know one favors knockdown power more while the other is strength

Keep a few silence spell books on you. I do this on all vocations, so I can nullify ever even having to deal with magic lol

i've been using daggers to melt drakes but i dont want to use daggers. when i finally ditched daggers for greatsword on my warfarer i had no idea how to take these guys down. usually i just wait for the sorc pawn to kill it

I switched from Mystic Spearhand to Warrior but I'm struggling when dragon flies up in the air and casts meteor. Since it's in the air I can't reach it to break it out of casting, it always nukes my pawns and by the time I res them it casts meteor again repeating the process. Basically what I'm asking is how do you deal with low HP drake that starts spamming meteor while flying around as Warrior ?

Run in circles lol. Nothing else you can do

Charge attack can resist knockback and damage and there is fire resist armor and potions as well as defense elixirs. Beyond that I'd say run away from the circles and come back. Warfarer can give you ranged when you unlock that as well.

Come to think of it, if you get warfarer you can run a polearm for the bubble shield and then swap to greatsword when he isn't casting spells. Haven't tried it yet to see if the bubble stays when you swap or whatever.

The only sword better than wounded heart is dragons bite, you buy it from the dragonforged for 110 crystals in the endgame, if youre in NG+, he sells everything he does in the unmoored world.
