KRABI, THAILAND - Travel Guide: RAILAY BEACH, TIGER CAVE TEMPLE & AO NANG

Krabi is the most famous place in Thailand when it comes to steep green mountains and beautiful white beaches. In the area, tropical bounty islands are a stone's throw away and the jungle in Khao Sok is also a few hours' drive away. Krabi is therefore the perfect center to start a trip in Thailand. But what is there to do in Krabi? In this episode, I'll show you Ao Nang, the Tiger Cave Temple, the fascinating Railay Beach, and a whole lot more. We also sail from here to the beautiful Koh Phi Phi. So enjoy the adventure!
We are visiting Thailand on a one year world tour and we may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands and Brazil. Thailand is already our fifteenth destination. Follow us on this world trip, first in Thailand and then to many more beautiful destinations! We also cross to Oceania and Africa! Krabi is my favourite destination in Thailand having stayed twice in Ao Nang around Feb 2018 and Feb 2020. Some of the best stuff in Thailand are in Krabi Province (Railey Peninsula, Tiger Cave Temple, Emerald Pool, Hot Springs, Hong Islands, Poda and Tup Islands, and obviously Phi Phi Islands). Yep lots of Indian food in Ao Nang and I went a few places there too

@@WoutoftheWorld I haven't yet but I'll have a look I have been to Thailand 4 times and is my 4th favourite country visited out of 30-odd countries that I have seen - only Maldives, Seychelles and Malaysia beats it for me. My 1st visit was Bangkok (including day visit to Ayutthaya) for 3 nights and Phuket for 1 week. My 2nd visit was Bangkok (again!) for 3 nights, Koh Samui for 3 nights, Koh Tao (2 nights) and Koh Phangan.(2 nights) My 3rd visit was Ao Nang (Krabi) including visiting Railey for 5 nights, Koh Yao Noi for 1 night, Koh Phi Phi for 3 nights, Koh Lanta for 1 night, and Koh Lipe (3 nights). My 4th visit was Ao Nang again for a week including visiting Koh Phi Phi and Railey again. I want to do one trip to Thailand to visit Koh Kood, Koh Chang, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Pai.

Krabi, Thailand is also one of the 3 only locations on Earth with pre-historic protozoa petrified in rock. All 3 locations are coastal. One in CT, USA One there in Krabi, Thailand One in Christchurch, NZ I have been to 2 of them...& NZ will scratch off a big paleontology mark on my bucket-list. Glad you enjoyed Thailand. It's my "home away from home".

Hi! For the mini I don’t think you need to, but you’d have to check. The rules were still a bit unclear when I visited. Also the authorities are completely unaware of the rules too, so no problems at all for me. Friendly and easy. 😁👌🏻

I am Dutch as you might know. In total 23 million people worldwide speak Dutch, Flamish is also Dutch and 6,5 million people speak that. Old Dutch in Africa is spoken by 8,5 million people. So 38 million people, not nobody 😁🤙🏻
