I totally would! I wouldn't use this stitch though- it's very loose and wouldn't hold up to washing. Something closer to the surface would be great though! You'd probably want to check fiber content as well - most floss is 100% cotton so you'd want something similar in your yarn so they'd wash up the same. It sounds like it would be a fun project!

Just wanted to let you know the wagon wheel roses came out great on the hand knitted blanket! I used yarn which was similar weight to the yarn used to knit the blanket. Added just the right pop of color to say "it's a girl". Thanks again!
