There was a carpet loom in the house where I grew up. All these voices and folk songs are familiar to me. Unfortunately, these hand-woven carpets have now been replaced by factory carpets. This movie is very valuable to me. So thank you very much. My love and greetings to all carpet weavers. ❤

I love that, one weaver travels through time and memories by the patterns she weaves.

What a wonderful project and so sympathetically presented. These artisan weavers are preserving a cultural tradition and creating beautiful, enduring works of art which are so valued and appreciated in today's mechanical, impersonal world. They are national teasures, thank you for this documentary honoring them and their work.

So much appreciations for Persian carpet. Each Persian rug is a real piece of art - so much time , energy, love, pain, patience …. need to make one. ❤ with love for all these wonderful and hard worker artists.

Thanks and lovely to hear this support. The weavers need more attention to be able to carry on with their art before it disappears all together.

Thank you for making this film, and for every weaver who shared her/his talent and thoughts. Great respect. Me living in Hungary... I can weave handmade Persian carpets (with double knot technique), learned it from my mother, who learned it from my grandmother... Heritage and tradition for me as well. And we used to sing too, not the patterns, but folk songs and also modern songs.

This is spectacular and so sad at the same time. Always wanted to be one of those who are thought an art and to not have any choice on to do it or not, but to have it as a life occupation, of course there is difficulty on that, but it is also very poetic and noble. I admire and appreciate this ancient arts and hope they never dissapear, at least from our memories.... thank you for sharing this!!!!

So beautiful! Thank you so much for this amazing project… the women weaver around minute 5:00 singing a song, "yare mahrebanam gal ay gal". Is it a folk song, common one I can find or did the weaver improvise it? It is really great melody and very touching.

El arte es compartir la experiencia de crear y entregarse en ello, y que sea un objeto de uso a un precio hace un ciclo sustentable, un consumo consciente.
