Thank you Katelyn, I took a canvas off one of those melanite frames and it's been sitting there for weeks while trying to figure out what to do. Watching your video here where you repurposed that frame with scrap paper gave me the inspiration I needed to do something with that frame and also the wood J O Y letters I had. I used your rope hanger trick and it looks awesome if I do say so myself. I could see someone easily thinking I bought it at Kirkland's. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

For the scissors you might want to try the kitchen utility scissors they are made to cut bones so they are stronger

I use a damp sea sponge to paint faux galvanized look. It seems to blend better.
