I agree, my numbskull son once stood on my expensive oak dining chair to change a light bulb in my kitchen and his weight broked the seat in half. That chair cost me over $75.00. He weight about 240 lbs at that time at 6' 3" for half Filipino/white guy (taller than his dad.)

I would also consider adding an exhaust fan in the bathroom too. Which would cut down on the humidity in the bathroom and the possibility of mold growth in a hot humidity climate there.

I think it would be harder to put base board cause the walls are concrete and not drywall like here in the USA unless you just used some sort of adhesive cause here we use small nails for that

There was a termite infestation under the sink not long ago. Im wondering if they are working their way up to the roof at this point.

I have to commend, though a first timer on tile-on-tile, he’s doing a marvelous job, flawless and thought-out well. He has a steady hand and he is a very clean worker. Seems like he is a very passionate person on what he does. Hope he is, too - in matters of heart. So far, it seems that way. I do wish for both of you to chill, go to any beach there to chill out for a day - take a break, unless Robbie is in a rush to go back to Poland.

hi guys, you just have to be careful with shiny tile, usually when it gets wet it's very slippery. so be careful. skirting board is called baseboards. It's popular in some countries but not all. Could be a snake or other creature up there. You guys both need a laptop Coolpad while you are on your laptops. It helps with the heat from the laptop, and when you have it on your stomach or legs it doesn't get the fresh air it needs. House is looking great. Look for PVC kitchen cabinets, they look just like regular cabinets, that way if they get wet it won't damage them in any way, they come in a lot of colors too. you can put screen or a block of wood up in the pipe to stop the critters.

MJ has a cool pad for her laptop on the bedroom table which helps the cooling when doing high intensity tasks like editing and uploading videos. For just casually browsing it's probably fine to have a laptop on your lap, that's how they got their name after all.

The questions about using “wood” in the Philippines are made without the knowledge of what could be a problem …. “termites” … I was just watching another vlogger (expat) and they had to remove all the wood ceilings in their garage because of termites ! Once Robbie is done with your Remodeling , he can come to the US and I'll pay him and give free Room & Board to do some Home Projects for my House haha!. Hi MJ, you can try to cook cottage pie 🥧 as well for lunch or dinner.. buy potatoes 🥔 boiled until soft then take out water, mashed the potatoes add salt & pepper , butter 🧈 a bit and milk.. and grilled pork or chicken as a main dish, it is very good and comforting food.. hope one day you can try this..
