Angelina is my favorite vocal artist of my lifetime & I've been listening to music since the 60's. Her music has a calming, relaxing effect on me, so I listen to her every day & I've been doing that for over 6 years. ❤️❤️❤️❤️👣 Her performance of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road on this program was even better, IMO. She has become this 65 year old man's favorite singer ever. Her family feircly protected her childhood. Not wanting her fame to rob her of a normal childhood. They turned down many offers, including Disney. That's why her recent EP was titled "Old Enough" meaning she was ready to breakout soon. She has been collaborating with Toby Gad recently so mabye it will happen soon for her. She certainly has worked her tail off perfecting her craft. She has been well known inside the music industry for some time and worked with well known Grammy winning artists so her time will come. She has been signed with Republic Records since she was 14 but part of her contract included that she not be heavily promoted until she finished school, which she has now done. So increased promotion may be coming. She certainly is deserving of being a household name in the music world.

From her audition on Norway’s Got Talent (2014 - age 7 - Gloomy Sunday "Billy Holiday") through the final on America’s Got Talent The Champions (2020 - age 13 - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road "Sir Elton John") and the 130+ videos in between you will not be disappointed. This includes three originals song: “What Is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” Since then she has done many new covers and now her new singles "Million Miles" and “7th Heaven”, along with her movie soundtrack "Mercy" from the motion picture “The Hating Game”. As well as her brilliant version of Elvis’s “Suspicious Mind”. She released her latest album “Old Enough” and it is definitely some of her best stuff. My personal favorite is her cover of Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die". Although the soundtrack is really growing on me.

For everyone who doesn't know yet: Not only did Angelina get the golden buzzer from judge Heidi Klum, but she also received huge praise from the remaining members of the legendary Queen. Queen were delighted with Angelina's arrengement and shared it on Twitter with the words "WOW, what a rendition" (three years later they repeated their praise on TT in March 27th 2023 with the words "absolutely killed it".) What was unfortunately not to be seen here, all four judges came on stage to congratulate Angelina (very rarely). 👣💯 *AJ* 💯👣 BTW, Angelina released her version of Bohemian Rhapsody with permission from Queen on January 24th, 2020 under her own label ANGELINA JORDAN INC. shortly after Angelina celebrated her 14th birthday. Just subscribed and waiting for more Angelina. Angelina is now 18 years old and just performed her first concert in Las Vegas in February with two shows in one night. She just recently announced an upcoming concert in Los Angeles/Glendale to be held September 2oth. There are recordings of her on KZbin from the age of 18 months to present day. She has a lot of fans who she calls her angels that will probably swamp you with requests for more. Peace and Love and good luck.

Thanks for your attention. Well, a couple weeks after this performance aired, the world began an extended lock down. She also was still a high school student. Per her parent's request, Republic Records limited her appearances until she graduated. She did continue releasing music in spurts during Covid. There's been much, much more since but, aggravatingly, none has gotten major notice or wide distribution so far. Stick with her. Share her with us and all your listeners. It will be a fun journey.

Suggestion for future reactions to Angelina. Please don't skip parts of the video, as there is always things to learn and enjoy. 13 year old Angelina created a genius arrangement, as she always does, then stood barefoot on one of the world's biggest stages and delivered a performance for the ages. Angelina is now 18 and is easily my all time favorite singer storyteller. She puts me in the story and evokes incredible emotions. *Why Angelina always performs barefoot* At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina never learned the orphan's name but called her Princess. The orphan girl replied, "princesses live in castles, we live in ruins". Angelina titled her song about this story, "Princess of Ruins". Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. Well, welcome to the AJ Rabbit Hole! You are going to be bombarded by her fans called Angels that will fill you in on this music prodigy with an old soul from Norway. She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. Even though she has been compared by many to Amy Winehouse, her major influence is Billie Holiday. Other influences are Dinah Washington, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Etta James, Whitney Houston, and Adele to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, "Wow, what a rendition!" For Queen to respond to someone covering one of their songs is quite a feat since they rarely react to anyone. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity. Now 18 years old, living in Los Angeles, and currently signed with Republic Records, whose clients include Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Drake to name a few. Her family and Republic Records had agreed not to heavily promote her just yet so she can live as normal of a life as possible and finish her schooling. From what we know, she is finally done with school. She had a single that came out May 5th called Love Don't Let Me Go, a new EP called Old Enough that came out Friday, July 21st, 2023, a newly released video of her new song called Now I'm The Fool, and a new album of original music which will be coming out some time this year. Angelina released her new single, Our Time, and is fantastic! She returned back to Norway and performed at a number of sold out concerts in which fans from around the world came to see her. Many of the fans there said she sounded better live in person and was a once in a lifetime experience. On September 22, 2023, Angelina had her first U.S. concert that sold out in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. On December 11, 2023, she was asked to come back and perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. She first performed at this prestigious event in 2014 when she was 8. On Feb.29th, 2024, she performed 2 shows on one night at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. A film crew followed her and created a documentary of her called Angelina Jordan: 10 Years In The Making which premiered on her official KZbin channel on March 29th, 2024. Currently, she is working with 3 time Grammy winner songwriter/producer Toby Gad creating new original music for her to sing. Gad has co-wrote and produced such big hits like All Of Me by John Legend, Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie, If I Were A Boy by Beyonce, and Skyscraper by Demi Lovato and a number of others. Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a poor shoeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. The girl then asked Angelina what her dreams were, Angelina answered that she wanted to sing for the whole world, and the girl said she would pray for her success. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. Many of her "Angels" started here, and were WOWed by 13-year-old Angelina. If you hadn't clipped the beginning of this video, you would have learned that she was here by invitation (this was the "Champions" version of all the "...Got Talent" shows) because she won "Norway's Got Talent at age 7. After learning that she was a veteran performer at 13, most reactors are torn between the urges to check out her earliest videos and those she's releasing today. Sir, NO you did not live under a complete rock. Her family hid her from the world, so she could have a childhood. The concert she did as a child, were foremost charity events. My friends ant co-comenters already explained most of it. Now that she is out of school (a year earlier, thank to her genius IQ) she starts through.
