Hey, I noticed a few of the mobs dropped Wool cloth shortly after you said about the times you farmed it, would this suggest the reappearence of Wool Cloth in Tailoring? As always thanks for the upload.

Totalbuiscuit, have you tried heroic dungeon with a more average team? I know you mentioned the healer was from a high end guild, so I'm assuming she's not the only one in your group that's super good. Unfortunately, most of us won't be running with top notch player, so I'm wondering if the dungeon you run would be as easy as you claim with an average group.

By a one chance run though with the gauntlet, do you mean one chance per run or one chance per toon? I would like the one chance per run, but I wouldn't see the point in one chance per toon since the latter would lead to major griefing that has too serious implications (plus, you'd have those who can't ever do it again mixed with those who need it, which would scream clusterfuck. And what would be the point, anyway, to do it that way?). I expect the former, though. I like the idea, though.

I actually like how it's Van Cleef's daughter who is the 'final' event. It sorta sorts out the lore about that specific point.

I've been thinking of coming back to WoW but curious to how the PvP is compared to WoTLK? Is it still easy to get pvp gear? is it obtainable through pve? Is resilience more of a factor for fights? Ive never been a fan of resilience. Is pvp still/more fun than WoTLK?

i kinda hope you can do it at least a coupple of times, or atleast allow wipes so if you fail you can do it again. btw TB i've heard rumor's that hogger will be in the stockades, can you confirm that? :)

Seems to be that the difficulty on some bosses is increased since you made this video. Ripsnarl is a lot more difficult than it shows in your vid. I had a clean run untill i reached Ripsnarl. Maybe you could check to confirm this?

TB, have you thought about adding recount into your UI? I'd like to see what kind of DPS your fire is putting out VS my Arcane, which has been horribly ruined in Beta so far.

However what a great ending, looking forward to when you manage to get a vid up of that completed. Very Very cool. out of curiousity is mage armor the new standard armor? or are mage armors more situational now and it might be helpful to switch from one armor to another depending on the circumstances

In normal Deadmines a group of elites will spawn after you kill a boss and start walking towards the group. Are they "removed" in the heroic version?

awww....the memories - i didnt know what an "instance" was until i was traveling with my first mmo friend and he said let me show you what wow is all about - and he ran me thru deadmines. that was countless hours, and 100's of raids ago and i still remember it fondly!

@TotalHalibut for the worgen boss, the stalactites from the ceiling should fall down during the the fog mechanic, leaving an obvious mark on the ground, but since the fog is there, it increases the difficulty of dodging it. Probably won't be a kill mechanic if it was implemented, but you can do so much with that extra mechanic. Maybe it pushes you back, maybe it clears fog, maybe it kills mobs.

Yes, guilds are the way to go - and even more so in Cata. With guild levels and all the perks, being part of a guild and doing instances together and helping each other will be absolutely awesome. Heroic deadmines looks neat and I can't wait to do it. The cookie event is just a gimmick, so I can't imagine them buffing it at all. If you make it that far, then you've already proven yourself anyway. As for the gauntlet: man, that looks so neat. Go TB, do the whole thing!

@esunub Blizzard's system doesn't work and is constantly second-guessed because it isn't very good. That's why they put votekick in and reduced the cooldown because they know a very simple truth of game design. It is extremely difficult to regulate human behaviour with artificial barriers and you shouldn't try.

Totalhalibut I am going to have to disagree with you on the part where the person on the forums complained about being kicked. If someone has just hit 80 they are supposed to do dungeons to get gear right? Blizzard stated that they wanted to change the vote to kick system because it was abused to kick people out of the group when they are trying to get gear. Just because someone is under geared for heriocs doesn't give you the right to kick them from group.

I am very proud of Blizz's work in this. I mean it doesn't seem very difficult but it does have portions which there seems to need some forms of thought. Just a pea brain amount of intelligence if one has been a WoW player for so long. Now for the Cookie fight... if Cookie was one of the bosses that we killed shouldn't he also not be there like all else? Either way, I'm loving it. I love your vids, TB. Keep it up. On your risk/reward rant, there were a few encounters in wrath that did have this. One that comes to mind particularily is General Vezax. Stand in green stuff, get mana, stand to long, oh look, floor tank. Other than that, I agree, having mechanics where you put yourself at risk to gain a damage buff, is good. It makes the player make decisions and think for themselves. Besides, we have life grip, if a stupid player is making a bad decision, yank him out xP

As an alliance player i did deadmines quite alot on many different chars. Now an endgame raider with a love of novelty aswell as difficulty - and this looks perfect. I agree what was said about Admiral Ripsnarl, the fight needs a little more to it... BUT the foggy effect in deadmines looks spectacular and it shows the continuing brilliance of the Blizzard art department. So yeah, add something to the fight, but keep how it looks.

@micodame Havnt you heard? Worgen dont get mounts, they have a Running Wild (or Wild Running...?) Ability that they purchase that makes them run at mount speed (its a mount without the physical mount)

What could be cool for the admiral ripsnarl fight is that all of the wisps kind of merge with him and form some kind of ultimate ghost wolf form. Seeing bosses go through some kind of transformation during the fight is always good

As an alliance, I have to say pretty much exactly what you said backwards. I have memories of deadmines. Very few of Ragefire Chasm and Wailing Caverns. And to try to get to them at low levels was next to impossible.

I don't really feel the way you explained risk-reward is very good. Personally I don't really care about loot, so if it's a 5% boost or a 200% boost is all the same, cuz at the end it will all balance. Where I do think that risk-reward is being underused is in boss fights. For instance, some mechanic where you get a dps boost by standing somewhere, but at the same time you get a staking debuff, or you are more likely to be targeted by a deadly ability. We really need more of that!

Also when you enter the area with the boat there is a named bird to the right on a little island named Ol' Beakey (if i remember correctly). the group i was in never killed him. i have no idea if he drops something or not.

Wrath has tricked crappy players into believing they are good because they have shiny purple items. I loved the fact that you pointed out someone telling people to step up. If ever I do it, I get some stupid excuse as to why they are playing like garbage. If people give me helpful advice I use it, I don't feel some kind of entitlement because I was carried through end game dungeons. Thank you for taking a stance on the right side of that issue.
