WOW!. CONSTRUCTION OF THE N71B LEKKI EPE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT HAS COMMENCED.

Lagos got FG approval for Lekki-Epe airport.
The Lagos State government on October 11, 2022 officially received approval from the Federal Government for the construction of the Lekki International Airport at the Lekki-Epe axis of the state.
Recall that the Lagos State Government, last Friday, had earlier announced the construction of the airport will commence in 2023.
It said that the new airport would be constructed on 3,500 hectares of land in the Lekki-Epe area.

I could hardly make it through the airport with all of the scamming And non employees follow me me Asking to exchange my money or carry my suitcase. And upon a refusal or no need quite change. Attitude Appeared. Serious security and monitoring needs to happen at the current and new airport. This experience was one of the down sides of arriving in Nigeria

This Airport is not necessary! MMA is not congested, a new terminal has just been built. Our airport traffic is not that great. The only thing congesting our airports are private jets owners. You can build a commercialised air strip for such people but not with government money. Maybe PPA. This is not a project in the wider public interest.
