Why you increase each 13 stitches in the last row of the body of hat? how you get 13?
@annatricota5 ай бұрын
I first crochet a circle with a diameter of 16 centimetres. The last row of this circle was crocheted according to the pattern: increase / 13 loops / increase /13 loops and so on until the end of the row. Then the body of the hat I crochet without increases. increases begin only in the brim of the hat, but according to the pattern: increase /14 loops / increase and so on.

How did you determine 28cms?
@annatricota11 ай бұрын
If you mean the diameter for the hat brim, 28 centimetres is the standard diameter for a bucket hat. I measured it from my fabric bucket hat. You can set any diameter for the hat brim and calculate the number of additions. For example, I have crocheted bucket hats with larger brim, up to 45 centimetres in diameter, but the length of the brim was longer.

What yarn did you use?
@annatricota Жыл бұрын
I crocheted it from Folia raffia because I had it at home. But you can use any raffia and any yarn to crochet this bucket hat.

I was born in Russia, now I live in Portugal and I am learning two languages: English and Portuguese. When I was making this video, I came across a translator with these terms, so I used them. Please don't judge too harshly. My knowledge of terminology expands with each video.
