This week's Sparks of Life quest is Forbidden Reach, which is significantly different from the original four quests. It only takes 50 sparks instead of 100, the pet battles award sparks, and the *quests at the Morqut village award sparks*. Right now you can set Valdrakken Accord as your rep bonus, take the quest Reach West, fly up the hill, do the dragonriding world quest, turn in Reach West, and you've made 20/50 sparks!

I think Malicia's name is based off the word "malice" like Nerfarian is based off of "nefarious" and Wraithion obviously "wraith". It's probably meant to be "Malice-i-yuh". Its a fantasy game, live your life, she'll give you quests whatever you call her, just throwing that out there.

Normally I don't comment that much, but in this case I had to, because as usual, another great video Archvaldor! AFAIK the most COMPLETE guide on pvp gearing on YT. As I noticed my comment is maybe long, I've got 1 tip for your video's and put it on top of my review: Sometimes your in-game footage sound was louder than your own commentary, so I couldn't hear what you're saying clearly. Maybe you could tune this a bit. My review on the video: Good tips, nice footage which fits the context of the subject (what a lot of content creators don't do) and you've covered all types of pvp content (most guides will only say 1 method like doing endless bg's between 65-70, so you can get full honor when you reach 70, but getting full honor gear is easy.) I forget the work order system a lot, because its new and I still have to get used to, but I definitly going to try to use these trophies for crafted gear. PS: as someone else mentioned, those bloody bloody tokens hehe. Have a great one!

Thanks for the useful feedback I really appreciate it. People have mentioned the audio thing: I like some game audio as it feels a bit dry without it but I take your point. I notice Rextroy just overlays his content with game music rather than game audio: do you think that might work?

Hmm sometimes a good soundtrack, even if it is short like an intro, could increase the quality. But when you are explaining specific steps like again how to gain those bloody tokens, then it might get distracting as I would probably mostly here the music. I do like your in-game audio though, it feels more natural when I watch the footage, so maybe you could switch between? Btw Sparks also drop from WQs and rares in the area of the Sparks quest. It is PVE content, but also very fast way. Like the dragon race WQs take avg 50 sec and reward 10 Sparks I think. Twice a week 1 or 2 races pop up in the area of the quest. I will check my info and update this. This is also a good method to complete the Sparks quest if you don't mind PVE.

Admittedly I’ve kinda been ignoring solo shuffle as a gearing method. I just remember queue times being astronomically long for DPS or something

Everyone talks about that..never noticed it being too bad but it is longer than randoms. I think we both like the scale of the battlegrounds though. Solo shuffle is stupidly fast gearing though-best I can remember.

@@archvaldor Even where gear is concerned, not worth touching. Solo shuffle is a fucking joke. And should be avoided at all costs. Nothing can justify queing for it. Just a shitty excuse of a solo que system and beyond pathethic game mode.

3:36, that DK should stop tanking... dude just about died to a dummy. Healing Solo is so punishing, I will have people tell me out right that no one does CC's in Solo, but yet I always get CC locked the whole game, no one watched for cyclones, polly's, hex's or any other casting type cc. No one tries to stop it, they just let it got off, without your healer, you will die. But healing is the fastest way to gear up in solo.

That said it is difficult to kick poly's and things not directed at you specifically. I have often tried to protect under-geared healers and to be honest a lot of the time it would have been better just focusing on dps - I'd be interested on your suggestions.

@@archvaldor I play as a shammy so I can get a lot of intorrupts, just wish the randoms would help out with some of it cause times I have to chase some derp who chooses to los me. Less healing I need to do, more dmg I can pull off, RSham hits pretty hard, like 100k+ Lava Bursts

A better statement would be "No dps in solo shuffle is helping to interrupt cc chains on the healer..." I've wanted to do solo to get my last conquest pieces on my main or to send those crates to my alt. But being cc chained for 5-10 sec which forces me to use the strongest cd's directly and lose afterwards is so draining that I haven't touched solo shuffle in weeks. My idea to improve this system would be to have something like they had implemented around MoP or WoD for dungeons that you first have to complete a training to understand the basics of Arena instead of going zug-zug me smash.

Well back in mop days i'd just afk in bgs for a day using trivia addon running in private channel to prevent deserter. Maybe it is nice some more effort needed this days. Btw guess you on to i155 shenanigans at level 10+? might worth doing video on it since bound to get fixed within few weeks.

You didn’t mention the drop from Assassins during the Spark quest, while doing the zone quest if an assassin comes up you should drop everything for the reward which provides honor, tokens and conquest.

You need a bit of luck to do that and it isn't really something for a basic guide. Certainly worth doing if you can though.

hello! I just lvled a fresh 70 rogue and some folks were telling me not to spend all my honor right now with 10.2 around the corner... any tips for someone who is brand new in terms of what to prioritize? I would love to eventually do rated arenas ! Thank you.

Not sure what they mean. I cap out on honor in under a day with all the quest bonuses and stuff.Can't think of any reason to do that. The advice in the vid is pretty much everything when it comes to progression to rated-that is basically what it is for. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

You'd need to add the trophies from the quest and any world quests to that for a tldr-they make it a lot faster and easier.

That intro was pre lols. Free casting, blink, then slow "Where the fuck am I" turn of the camera angle. Can be as bad as Archvaldor where gameplay is concerned (movement, combat, camera control all round lacking), but still get into a shit tier bg from time to time lol. Would like to see some wotlk content. Retail is beyond fucked in the head at this rate.
