First of all it is obvious that the Dominican guy has a high African descendancy..he's dark skin and has African physical features. I'm Dominican and my DNA indicates that I have 3% Northern African descendancy.

As a Nigerian I'd love to do this, because what Africans do not understand is that a lot of migration, slavery and intermarrying happened we just like to act like we are from one tribe only. I am Tiv and I know my tribe was one of the last ethnic groups to migrate to Nigeria, the legend goes that we migrated from Central Africa, and the closest language found to the Tivoid languages is a language in Congo, so it would really be interesting to see how African I am.

@Swaii Maestro Africans enslaved Africans all over Africa, check your history, also there was a lot of assimilation a lot of Bantu language speakers were not originally Bantu people I know that because my ethnic group is actually a Bantoid people too and when they arrived Nigeria a lot of people were assimilated into that group, it happens everywhere in the world.

Point of correction Balanta people are not from Sudan,Ethiopia and Egypt.The Balanta people are from only three countries Gambia,Senegal and Guinea Bissau.The name or word Balanta originated from the Mandingo people meaning “Resist”.When the Europeans came to Gambia a group of people seek refuge with the Mandingo and asked for protection from Mandingo for Europeans to not take them away.The Mandingo people told them we will help you but make sure you resist the Europeans while we fought them together,that’s where the name Balanta came from meaning Resist.Whoopy Goldberg is Balanta too.

@@trulyjj7528 It's interesting to link A'f'rican American people by their haplogroup variants to specific tribes, but they act like A'f'rican American people trace back to one tribe, no way. If you are eating at McDonald's, your one hamburger came from forty different cows, similar, if you are A'f'rican American, you trace to many different preliterate sub saharan tribes and peoples. To be A'f'rican American is to be part West African, part British, part Central African, and 2 percent of your sub saharan ancestry is from the Southeast A'f'rican region, specifically you have some ancestry from Mozambique and Madagascar. This is true for all A'f'rican American people. So if you want to go visit the homeland, you need to see the UK, along with all the West African coastal nations, then head to the Congolese rainforest, because over a quarter of your sub saharan Ancestry is central A'f'rican. Then you also would need to visit Mozambique and Madagascar. This would be one heck of a good adventure, but very expensive.

Now don't get me wrong, Fela is great and my favourite Fela songs are Lady, Gentleman and Water got no Enemy. Ali Farka Touré was great as well. Middle Eastern is not a continent or a country. Its a term that was given in 1928 to the area which is really North East africa which used to be governed by Blank Cushite, Arabs And Israelite whom were Black. This is why the 2nd president of Egypt Jamal Abdul Nazir stated to the Jews in 1955 "You Jews will never live here in peace because you left black and came back white" . Read the book: "From Babylon to Timbuctoo" The tribe of Judah were not caucasians He is Jewish because his ancestors converted to Judaism in the 7th century 740 Ad. in the Russian area called Khazaria, the people are also known as Ashkenazi His haplotype may reflect NE Africa/ middle east now because of conquest of the ottoman empire and other white nations coming into Northern Africa/Middle east who did not originate from there.

"And I saw Ibrahim" he said: "I am the one among his offspring that most resembles him" and he said: "I was brought two vessels, one of them containing milk and the other containing wine. I was told: 'Take whichever one of them you wish.' So I took the milk to drink from it. It was said to me: 'You were guided to the Fitrah' or: 'You chose the Fitrah, if you had take the wine your Ummah would have strayed.'"

The Bamileke tribe is broken down into many villages like the bafang, bagangté, mbouda, dschang, bafoussam, baham, bandjoun etc. with each village having a varying form of the bamileke language. Also have very beautiful, color and conspicuous traditional clothes, jewelry, art, beautiful cuisine too. They are known for their beautiful dark complexion, tall heights, nomadic cattle rearing, beautiful women and culture. Most of them are conservative muslims. They're part of the Sahel ethnic group of Africa who migrated from the north of africa down south, east and west. Have so many languages like Fulani, Tuareg, Kanuri, Gur, Shuwa Arab, hausa. Rosenberg's credit score just dropped 100 points. Lol. Just kidding. But I'm glad I saw this video. I've wanted to do a test like this, but haven't since the other companies give your info to places they don't tell you about. I'll have to check more about African Ancestry.

it is not shameful to know which part of africa, it's good to know your tribe, bantu? khoisan? the short pygmies? or even the tallest and leanest race of people like the nilotes. like how some Caucasians want to have viking blood i get that some people don't care but others do

MFS GamePlay, I was thinking the same; I've noticed they never take DNA test on the internet. Although many are ethnically European because they converted during the Roman empire; while others middle east would be able to trace their dna to Africa.
@empressliving53085 жыл бұрын
@robert howard, Many would also have North African and other African dna while the others would show only European dna since many converted during the roman empire in Europe. Also please note, Middle Eastern is not a race.

Love seeing Black ppl proud of their African ancestry. Unlike ppl like Dane Calloway and “Lord” Jamar, who believe they are the” original” Native Americans, tryna distance themselves as far away from African culture as possible.
@cozycool35055 жыл бұрын
No that's not true, what they mean is there was hundreds of Africans that came to America before -before- before the white man and mixed with some of the indigenous tribes and stayed there for 100+ years before 1492 !
@YourGraceMyLady5 жыл бұрын
Cozy Cool SMH 🤦🏽♀️ Y’all so delusional, NEVER saw a Native American take a DNa test where African ancestry showed up, some South Americans have African Ancestry but they know it came from the slaves that were brought over in the Trans Atlantic slave trade. I’m Lakota and Ojibwa and the way our legends and stories are told , they are never changed from the first time they were told. Story telling us an art in my culture, and we NEVER had stories of outsiders or our ppl looking like Africans.

@@YourGraceMyLady you need to do more research. I'll help you book by Ivan van sertima they Came before Columbus the African Presence in Ancient America. Dane Callaway said most of the blacks in North America didn't come over hear as slaves we was already hear. You are delusional
@YourGraceMyLady5 жыл бұрын
Richard Groover I’m not delusional at all. You are. Yeah, Egyptians came over before Columbus, but they didn’t stay. I know of the Olmec heads, I don’t need to do any research, I know. I know. I know that when Columbus came over here he never described any Native Americans as having Afros. We all have melanin, we have red in our skin. Our skin tone is even different from y’all. Both my grandmas are full blood n married to men who were only a quarter French. None of my ppl look even remotely like Black or African ppl.
