It doesn’t matter now. The past is the past and I’ve moved on, she should too. We all make mistakes, sometimes you just have to chalk things up to experience. I don’t wish to go back and relive or try to pick up where we left off. If she’s realizing this now, and you said she just took the easy way out when things got rough then, that says to me they were not really a good friend or lover. She needs to find the courage to look at things and make a decision to do what she needs to do. I’m seeing someone else now and I can’t and don’t really want to see anyone from my past, especially to try and rekindle a romance with me. I don’t deal with fair weather friends. People who just come around when things are going good with me and for me. If she is thinking about returning, I really don’t want her too. I may have been abandoned, in which case I will heal myself and I will learn from my mistake as well. When healing takes place it’s usually not by the person who created the situation or was the cause of any type of abandonment. Like I said, I’ve moved on, she should too. I’m doing quite fine without her now and she should look forward as well instead of trying to come back to me now that I’ve moved on. The chapter of her life with me in it is done. It’s over and she needs to just let it go. I’m glad she had an epiphany and is waking up but, that’s on her and I’m not here to correct her mistake for her and don’t really want to see things as if they were mistakes, to me they are just life experiences and you do the best you can. I’m sure she will be fine without me. I wish her all the best and I hope she works things out. But, coming back to me isn’t really an option. If she thinks I’ve been sitting around wondering why she left me and abandoned me, I haven’t. My life is going good and I’m not changing it, sorry. Hope she works things out! 🙅🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️👋🏻
