Of all that I've tried, and I've tried and still own many alternatives including the FOMO line. The best clone to Elysium is Zion by Alexandria. Fragheads Asylum is lighter and doesn't last. Dior Homme Parfum is Leather Intense also by Alexandria, Gary's Den has none of the Ambrette or Rose and little Leather it's mostly makup-y Iris. Now as for Illusion D'un soir..I find it closer to Red Tobacco than Grand Soir so I think there might be some confusion going on there with the whole "soir" in the name. But yeah it's definitely the best of the 3 from a strictly stand alone point of view. All three aren't bad but I wouldn't buy them again. Theres better options.

I bought Gary's Den and Paris Corner's Frenetic Homme at the same time and they don't even smell like they're duping the same fragrance. Gary's Den was far and away superior in everyway except the magnetic cap on the Emir

I believe that they are both duping different fragrances. Gary’s Den = DH Parfum and Frenetic Homme = Dior Homme Intense.

How is the cap on your Gary’s Den bottle? Mine doesn’t really click so it’s not safe to pick it up by the bottle, which is kind of lame. I’m also unsure of the smell but I have never smelled DHP before so I’m trying to decide if I should sell it or keep it. Decisions decisions

@@Pazuzu88 You can NOT pick mine up by the cap and it's a slow release so I can actually pick it up off the shelf and get it over my foot before it releases and drops lol. The smell is pretty spot on in mine which is from the original release batch

I just received "A Fraghead's Asylum" and I'm amazed at the quality. Sparkling grapefruit in the top and that pink pepper helps it pop. I love the vetiver in the dry down.

If you're expecting Gary's Den to smell like DHP, you'll be disappointed. That being said, if you judge the scent as it's own thing it's actually quite nice.

It smells almost identical to DHP. Just a little rougher around the edges. DHP is so smooth with alot of depth which makes it more complex...meaning, you can smell more of the notes at different times. Other than that, the scent profile is like 95%, at least. I own 3 bottles of DHP and 2 bottles of Gary's Den.

The best Grand Soir clone is Amber Grand by Pendora Scents...and perform even better than the Original. Facts. Second one is the Lattafa , Eternal Oud . I think it's that the name.

Gary's den big disappoint can't replace the Dior homme intense and definitely not the dior homme parfum. I think this is a generous video to not upset the fragrancebuy people cause FOMO is their brand. Pretty disappointed with Gary's Den and I was optimistic about it.

I ended up testing out these three and they have a heavy ~almost isopropyl~ smell to them. It is common between all three of the fragrances, so I am assuming it is related to whatever they are using as a alcohol base. The fragrance otherwise fantastic, but I cannot unsmell whatever this is...

If its anything like their soaps, they're not that great. They're very one note type scent profiles, I've tried most of their core line scents and their seasonal offertings too, they're all meh, at best. Nothing will ever wow you in terms of smell. Decent enough as soap though.
