Don't forget about using the Help>Unstuck feature to kill your character and teleport to the entrance if you don't have a Hearthstone. With the Winter Toy Hearthstone you will always be able to hearth even without one in your bag. Also Unstuck causes no durability loss.

you can take off your gear before dying in the lava and not have to pay repairs. rings and trinkets can stay on since they don't have durability.

Not sure if it'll mess with the resets for this particular situation, but there's an easy method any class can use to get out of instances. Create premade group, then leave the group. You get kicked out to graveyard in 1 minute.

i discovered a new trick by accident. has nothing to do with this vid, but is something you frequently talk about. now i don't know if it's faction specific, but if you sneak up on ol bwonsamdi in that necropolis pit he will throw you up very high. if you wait till you top out, pop a glider, and can fly all the way to redfields watch. farther if you use some type of boost. dh could use it as a launching point to reach areas unavail without flying.

Thanks very much. I would have thought it very unlikely. Insofar as is possible with most things Blizzard prefer to quietly nerf things and not ban people. The exceptions are things like automation and things which trigger multiple reports, current content exploirs and/or things which seriously destabilize the ah. I'd have thought this one would be very safe-but ultimately of course i can't know what Blizzard is thinking, I'm just going on what happens historically.

I suppose as well based on the past and things youve mentioned above; the darkshore warfront world boss loot not locking out weekly as intended, the way people were abusing it and destabilizing current game progression(thus providing unfair advantage and reducing need for subscription time) is what led to the bans. From reports Im familiar with they permabanned the people who did it more than a handful of times (getting full sets dozens of times over). Though I am of the opinion if the mistake was the devs fault for not coding properly then regardless it shouldnt result in permaban. My mate said well people should have known since world raid bosses have always been like that its on them. This was in response to me saying how are we to know if it is not just a new feature working as intended. Haha. Any way to boycott time gating I am a fan of. So I suppose your assessment has merit and should be relatively safe. Ultimately as with everything you share do so at your own risk : P : )

I would say that getting a perma-ban over this is... unlikely, but not impossible. The Darkshore boss exploit got people banned because it was causing the exploiters to get an unfair advantage over other players, not because of the loot itself, but because they were scrapping it into the currency used to buy Azerite Gear. Getting that much Azerite Gear currency all at once was going to cause HUGE imbalances in the playerbase when the next raid came out. Blizz always takes current gear progression very seriously when it comes to glitches and exploits. So, a legacy glitch like this is almost certainly not going to get as much attention, or be as exploited as that glitch was. There is, of course, nothing stopping Blizz from banning you over this, but I would suspect they would simply quietly fix it. Maybe give out lesser, temporary bans. At worst, they'll take away the raw gold you made, but I find even that to be unlikely.

Ah yes you are correct....however the glitch won't work till 30 mins from when you actually exit the raid. Nonetheless it is a useful point you make about dungeons generally.

No, you can log out on that character but you must log out outside the instance. You have to wait 30 mins on each character but you can do this on multiple characters so you can fill in that time running the instance on other characters.

It is viable, but it is tied to a raid lockout so can't be done more than once on each character before lockout. I wouldn't sign up for that alone, I'd consider the value of the whole archive which i believe is well worth it.

Logged off or on doesn't matter. The only important thing is that the character MUST leave the raid instance for the countdown to start.

"Massive deflation going on." Wait, how is WoW going through deflation? I thought the past few expansions caused massive inflation, especially from garrisons in WoD. What has changed to cause this? Did Blizzard nerf all raw-gold sources or something?

Yes, though another major factor is what most reckon to be a mass exodus of players since BFA was launched. Blizzard removed the legion mission tables, there are ones in BFA but they are a waste of time for gold making. World quests do not offer huge amounts of gold. Legacy raids were nerfed. The rogue pickpocket quest now only awards a quarter of its gold reward. It really is quite difficult to make any gold at all since nothing is selling other than basic mats (even those aren't doing that well on small realms). Btw Legion was just OK Imho for gold-better towards the end when the mission table rewards got out of hand. WOD was the best gold xpac ever-I actually still do WOD garrison stuff to make gold and make much of my raw farmed gold from Iron Docks.

@@archvaldor Wow, that's pretty interesting actually. I heard this is actually the same sort of thing that happened to Runescape a few years back. Gold used to be in large supply and people would have hundreds of millions at a time. Then after a point (possibly on purpose or just oversight, probably on purpose) mobs in new more relevant areas stopped dropping "raw gold" pieces and gold actually became a much less tangible commodity, to the point that people started to just barter with items for trades over gold. It's probably not the worst thing that Blizzard is trying to reduce the massive deflation, but at the same time in makes you wonder if they are just trying to not have to worry about the games economy by just releasing more and more different currencies every expansion so they can control the economy with each new expansion or patch. Possibly even to have more control of people using WoW gold to pay for their sub time with WoWTokens.

I very much doubt Bliz would care about this. It is a nice lump of raw gold but it isn't gamebreaking. Additionally it is not even clear to me whether this is actually an exploit: reminds me of the old raid reset lockout trick.

@@archvaldor Being able to fight the same raid boss over and over to get loot is exploiting a glitch. I'm not telling anyone what to do, all I'm saying is, exploiting a glitch for any kind of gain is banable by their ToS. They may never care, but I don't see a reason to even try this because the possible outcome doesn't justify the tiny benefits. 200-400 gold and low chance for pet/character/30 minutes, isn't exactly enticing either. You can make upwards of 25k a hour farming herbs and ore in BFA, no waiting, no relogging, no exploiting, no character switching.

Be careful with spamming it. I was exploiting a rep in nazmir 3 month ago. kept resetting it for 14 hours straight. reached exalted in 1 day with honorbound. Blizz banned me as a result. They dont care about a few times but if you keep at it they will come after you. Just advice :)

200 Gold for something that takes 1 minute is very good for a raw gold farm. Plus you get a shot at a valuable pet (7K+)-if I was feeling more clickbaity I could put "100K Gold Per Hour" in the title and it would actually be true in terms of item value and time invested-that's actually how most people do it.

@@archvaldor :/ stole is maybe a hard word for "showing ur spot 24h after u" (king kunta), anyway, with survival hunter this farm FEEL SO GREAT, we did it with a friend also 2 spot each, and we keep trying like a competition to push the limite of first missplay or first frag from green guys, it was so fun 2 days around 15 recipe/plans. 2min kills (u kill maximum spot without even fake death synchro, no need vocal) and 30sec loot at the early we keep reseting after 5min and then 15min, ... good rp farming spot. ty u a lot show me more
